Cheaper option for people that don't have alot of money, rather than having the heating on and heating the whole house.

Was looking to buy this from wilko anyway and saw this deal on a separate shelf near the end of the aisle. Offer on the Single and double also and lots left when I was there just before 7pm. Hopefully this is a national deal.

Got this from Asda for the same price few weeks ago, it’s absolutely useless. Save your money and buoy something decent for bit more

I have never had one before and thought I would give it a go. Bought this evening and put on my bed under the mattress topper. Am literally in bed with it on now and it is fantastically warm & cosy. Cheap to run (about 12p a night). What's not to like?

I take it your financially stable and able to afford to heat your home all winter unlike 1000s of people/ families in the UK

Not at all, I buy a winter quilt so no need for heating on, I've tried one and after 5 minutes was sweating and uncomfortable and had to get up and take the whole thing off the bed, you might get older houses that get colder at winter but your average house will not get cold enough for one of these.

Lol, from what I know igloo are very warm so no need, I think some people have been over pampered over the years and only feel comfortable if the house feels like a sauna.

Yes it can get to hot I couldn't have one on bed all night but nice to pre heat + I have had a place in the past that was that damp I left leccy blanket on all day to keep bed aired. + a lot of older\not so well off\single people wrap themselves in them on an evening rather that heating whole house

Yeah, I didn't think of all the possibilities before posting, next time...
I have a disability and wouldn't get through the year let alone the winter without my electric blanket for my legs, unless I roasted everyone in the house and fancied mopping up the constant puddles of sweat, so yep, massive need for electric blanket, not everyone fits in a typical box, sorry to say they wouldn't make them anymore if there was no need for them :/ 🙊 x
