No it hasn't - and maybe its future demise is why this is so cheap? Don't jump to conclusions without checking!

After a quick search on GOOGLE seems its for both, looks like the same one

Theres no such thing as an analogue aerial or a digital aerial. If it's advertised as a TV aerial it can pick up both types of signal.

I have tried various aerials over the last 18m or so, and have never managed to get a decent signal (I have no external aerial), but recently purchased this one in Sainsburys & have to say it's brilliant! Picks up loads of freeview/radio channels-good picture too-currently reduced to £9.99 Sainsburys

They receive both analogue and digital signals.

Aerials are made a certain size, dependant on the frequency of the signal it is designed to capture.
Generally it is tuned to receive a band of frequencies.

TV signals whether digital or analogue are transmitted usually in the same group of frequencies from your local transmitter.

Each UK TV transmitter is allocated a different frequency group to prevent signals from other transmitters interfering with each other. As the frequency gets higher the aerial/antenna gets smaller.

Aerials used to be fine tuned to best receive signals locally and were given letters A to H for each transmitter, now most aerials are classed as wideband so as to reduce manufacturing costs, this one should be wideband. Digital signals are very low power at the moment and should be boosted greatly in 2012 when switchover is complete when current areial/reception problems should then be a thing of the past.

apologies for my basic understanding here, but wondering if somebody could help:
I want to put a tv in my kitchen, however have no indoor tv aerial there to allow for signal and picture.
Is this something that could help that? i.e. replaces the indoor tv aerial?

Yes, this would be a dedicated indoor aerial for that TV in your kitchen.

Potentially yes but unless you have a particularly strong signal you may find you have problems with an indoor aerial, especially on digital stations (eg through Freeview).
