These are great if you hate the person who has to do the vacuuming - because they're bloody awful.
Can't complain for the price.

Seems you were unlucky going by the majority of reviews
atleast yours actually worked Liam lol
I spent 5mins pondering whether to get it or not, and guess what? OUT OF STOCK!
I can only assume that tesco paid those people to write good reviews for this i bought one for my office and it was awful! Poor suction, compared to more expensive hoovers..... but for the price its better than sucking the carpets yourself!

Are you seriously suggesting the product reviewers were paid to write good reviews? If you do then your judgement is on a par with your posting skills. This model is exclusive to Asda not Tesco. Maybe you are a confusing this model with a similar product sold by Tesco. Maybe not.
OOS again... Grrr
it's out of stock now, i wanted one for my chimney flue, my hubby used my henry last time and then i ended up scrubbing the carpets cause it left a big black mark
not bad for the price
Terrible suction, frustrating to use.

Sorry, out of stock.
We have one of these, bought for a 6 month rental. Perfectly fine for a 1/2 bed flat and the dust collection bucket certainly shows that it sucks!

It is no £200 Dyson but to keep a smallish property looking spick and span, hard to complain at this money.

Similar performance to the Vax £60 cleaners - neither of which are amazing.

Don't try the website. When I clicked on the website it said out of stock, I phoned them up and they had them in stock, went instore, there were around 15 available. Paid 18.99 though
only decent thing that came out of purchasing this turd was when returning mine i ended up picking up a Bissell reuced to £35

Mine is nowhere near as good as my Morphy Richards, which I picked up for £55.

It really is awful. You have to focus the pipe at whatever you want to pick up, and then it only picks up light dust.
Had several of the pound-stretcher version of this was actually branded as licensed by Hyundai up until last year, pound-stretcher stopped selling them as they had that many peeps taking them back including me one of the big faults was the wheels fall off , they also are very noisy and gave off a burning rubber smell all the time also get very hot, but other than that the suction was excellent and the machine was very compact n light weight which was ideal for my mum when carrying up n downstairs etc, so unless asdas version has been improved on these will probably have similar faults so keep your receipts etc.

Yes, it is a shame. We could have saved people the money and hassle if we had posted sooner.

I take it you haven't actually used the item you're ardently promoting?
likely to be available in-store, worth ringing your local branch
In stock again - received text alert. Un-expired.
They sold this in poundland or one of those shops for £15, they all got recalled after a couple of months as the motor's in them catch fire... Shame as they beat the Dyson hands down...
I refuse to believe that this pile of junk is worthwhile. Get yourself a Dyson and stop kidding yourself on. Voted cold.
Some of these comments have made me re-consider.
Well, that's the Mrs. sorted for Chrimbo. Anyone got a deal on an iron?

The problem with mine was that after about a month the filter became clogged with fine dust particles. After that the motor would cut-out after about 5 minutes of use. It never recovered even after fitting new filters and was consigned to the skip. Was quite powerful during its brief stint of workingness though!

My landlady got this for me , if I'm offered this product + £1m I won't buy this ****
Having had one of these ASDA Smart Price vacuum cleaners before (albeit a different model), I'd recommend that you avoid it like the plague. My experience almost exactly mirrors huggychair's, but replace "a month" with "10 minutes" and you have the idea...
