ASda have reduced the price of their Smart Price unsweetened soya drink to just 60p. This is less than half the price of Alpro.

It has been this price for quite some time as i buy it regularly. The Asda organic version is only a few pence more though.

Can all you people who have voted this offer as negative, please explain why?

Tesco Value Unsweetened Soya Milk is the same price. I don't know about the Asda version, but the Tesco one is organic.

Because this is not a hot deal it is just a no frills cheaper brand as opposed to Alpro. Its like listing Asda'a own beans and comparing the price to Heinz.

If it was Alpro half price, then that would be a hot deal.

If you get my drift lol

we've just ordered one of these in our shop to see if our little one will take to it instead of alpro - not sure if we've ordered the organic version or not though.

Either way it's half the price of alpro which has been costing me a fortune!

I do agree with the posters above though - more of a tip really than a hot deal - try this instead of alpro to see if you like it is the message I think!

tastes like ass

Ironic that this stuff tastes like meat

It would do if you've been stuffing your face with said meat, otherwise you're probably just drinking gravy baby!

I disagree. I checked the contents on So Good, which contains only 3% soya, whereas the ASDA version actually has 6% soya. so, you get twice as much soya for half the price. Therefore, it's a great bargain!
Also, it is priced at 84p and reduced to 60p. I can't say whether this is normal but it seemed like a reductiona and therefore a bargain.

Not a bargain, just a cheaper brand

This is the 63p organic one, that is better in my opinion than the smartprice one.
I don't remember the smartprice one ever being more than 60p... so i don't think it is a reduction.

I don't think it does taste of meat... (not that i have tasted meat since the age of 7).... sh*t maybe, but not meat.
You do just get used to the taste of it after a while, not so bad with cereal, but i certainly wouldn't drink a glass of it.

Not sure if the last post was aimed at me. If so, as previously stated, the price on the carton clearly states 84p. Otherwise, ignore this post.
