Has Freeview HD. I bought it yesterday for spare room. Great for money. No pleasing some people on here. Lol.
Avoid currys and find another retailer

Dare I ask why

Bad customer service , once they have your money they don't want to know about any problems . "Sorry please contact the manufacture it's nothing to do with us "
Try John Lewis or ao.com or Richard sounds they all will usually price match .

I don’t have an aerial socket in my bedroom and a portable aerial barely picks up any signal, is there anyway I can watch tv in the bedroom, I have a Sky Q box in the front room but don’t really want to pay out for multi room.
Just brought the 24” & 32”, £20 voucher via vouchercloud on a £150+ spend as posted by Hassxn786 yesterday

Bought this last year and it's been hanging perfectly on our bedroom wall ever since. Nice, good size bedroom TV for the price.

Depends what you mean by TV. You could easily use some powerline adapters or your WIFI (pending signal etc) to watch VOD/Netflix/Catch-up, or buy a wireless TV sender.

Sky? You need another multi-room box, phone them and negotiate it.
I bought the one with the built in dvd player for a spare room £179,Currys...it's not bad, picture is very good especially on the freeview hd,dvd player is fine...the wifi works ok,youtube, iplayer etc.

What I don't like..sound isn't great,a bit tinny even after adjusting....no Amazon video app (a Firestick will sort that) and if left on standby more than a day or so it takes a while to come on or you need to unplug it for a second (keeping an eye on this,it may go back to the shop)....it's ok for the money, wouldn't buy one as a main tv though and the turning on problem bothers me a bit.

I've taken stuff back, near the end of warranty, been polite about it they replace the item with the current model...never had a problem with Currys tbh.

You'll find now adays most smart apps on TVs let you watch live TV. That's what I do for my smart bedroom TV with bbc iPlayer which has no ariel.

Fair enough but it’s still a lot less faff just to turn on a normal TV with an aerial or cable feed.

Yes it is though they were answering a question for someone who didn't have an aerial or cable feed.

I use an AV sender - I have used these ebay.co.uk/itm…MIC for years. I have one transmitter connected to my Sky box and a receiver in the bedroom and kitchen, They have worked fine for me although they were much cheaper when I bought them. More modern versions are available but I have not used them. Some are dual band.
Totally agree. We got this for our kids at Christmas and opened it Christmas morning and was a big crack on the screen! Took currys 2 weeks to come and lift it with them staying we would get a new one within 2 days! Over a week later and still no TV! So rang and they said they had none in stock but would be 6 weeks!! Or we could have another tv at the same value but wouldn't be as big and wasn't a smart TV!!! Best about it was they were selling the Tv's on their website and were in stock in the shops!! Ruint.my children's Christmas had to wait a month before we got.out money back and went elsewhere to buy them a far better one! They also promised us a 20% off voucher for our next purchase but never seen it! Will never set foot in currys again!
DON'T. My dad's failed after 25 months.
Agreed @shinyfemale , fab price

As long as you have access to WiFi then yes. Amazon fire stick, now tv box, smart tv. Most of the catch up apps let you watch live tv.
I bought this TV from Currys October 2016 and would recommend it - yes sound isn't great & it does do a lil re-boot of his own infrequently.
I'm no tech person though & like Surfbabe 10 have no tv aerial in my bedroom (where I use it) to use the freeview service. Currently hooked to VM box.
I got great service from Currys when queried the functions on the TV until it they realised I had no outside aerial connection.
I have an AV sender from my old tv but was unsure I could use this - will happily ditch VM if I could use aerial access from downstairs tv and thank Dave_dave69 for his input.
Heat from me and I paid £199.99 for it - sorry for the long comment
