I asked and they said someone had pinched them all!

hmm

I just **** on all my gear. Seems to be a good deterrent as nobody nicks it.

Great having your stolen gear marked. Apart from the fact that a tiny percentage of stolen property is ever recovered to check for your markings.
And if your stuff gets stolen in 4 years and rocovered a year later they couldn't care less anyway. According to the blurb they will just ask you to remove the stickers as your right to display has expired.

Do the likes of cash convertor check for markings?

If they did, I suspect their business model would collapse
