Nice. They lowered the price! Time to switch from VOXI methinks
Only issue would be the signal

good deal for new customers. If you're with someone atm, try retension though. I pay the same as this for £7 a month with EE), loads of peeps have it cheaper.
"We are a UK-only network that runs on 3G and 4G. International calling and roaming are not available at the moment."
FWIW they use the 3 network.
I've just joined virgin 2gb data 2500mins and unlimited text with rollover data £6 a month.

I believe with smarty you get cashback for unused gbs

Off of your next bill. Yep
Would it make sense to buy the highest plan they have to start with. Then use the data you need to use, then get whatever you don't use on the next bill. That was it's much harder to go over your limit if your usage differs every month as you're on the highest plan than the lowest plan?

Ok. No that doesn't make sense.
If you run out of data it’s £1.25 per GB - the same as it costs in your plan. To call an 084 or 087 number you can add credit in £5 increments. Add-ons never expire.

If you want a free month, go through a referrals link, not allowed on here but plenty on moneysavingexpert referrals board. If you Google mse referrals smarty, it's about the 4th link. More recent links more likely to work.
I am with this network, no fuss and easy transfer, I just use a three trio wireless internet huawei abroad on imessage. No fuss. Less hassle. The 4G works fine for data and uses the three network.

Nothing really. I've had a very good experience with them. Just I was going to go for Smarty in the first place as I can't tell which amount of data i use in different months. Now they're cheaper I may as well move.
Great if you never plan to travel abroad. Doesn't work outside the UK so it's annoying as hell!

Yeah it's about time but I'll have long gone. Can't complain though, if you don't travel much it's ridiculously cheap.
Awful customer service & i asked for my Pac code after 2weeks as thats how bad the coverage & CS was..... AVOID at all costs.... I got the 3gb data with U/calls & U/texts for £8pm with Vodafone

You can get 250 minutes, 5000 texts and 2.25GB data with iD (who also use 3) with data rollover for £5.
Roaming, 4G and Wi-Fi calling already included if handset supports them.

Smarty's base price is £5 assuming no data is used.
Seems like it's using Three's infrastructure, so be aware if Three network signal or data speed is not great for you

Exactly the reason I switched from GiffGaff, was constantly starting the goody bags early! This way I always have 8gb which is more than enough

Suppose the initial cost of the bundle will be higher but then minimum of £5?
They were first post on here in Nov2017, to OP ( won't let me quote you for some reason).

Does anybody know please If i sign up with a referral code via MSE can i port my number over, or is it best to wait and just test the waters first with a free month on a spare phone and then do it with puk code direct later?

I have just cancelled my 12 month contract with 3, which will need me to port two numbers over by the 16th of May.

Thanks in advance.

Absolutely, although likely to be a minimum of £6.25 as they charge £1.25 per GB and unless you use no data it will always be more than £5. I’m not sure if they round up to the GB, pretty sure I did read somewhere it was to the MB so maybe less that £6.25

Or better yet if you know a friend already on the network, get them to refer you and you both get a month free. That's what I done, rather my close friend benefit from a free month than a random link that may not work
