any point in asking for a reduction if you are on a £18.75 plan?

No, just change your plan from your dashboard. You'll switch over to £18 for unlimited everything from your next renewal

Yup, work it right and you can get 2 months free!
you need to update the amount this is not a 12 month contract so the price is the 18 a month, the deal is for 12 months but like any other smarty deals its just a normal monthly contract.

Title is misleading

Was thinking exactly the same, but probably it would be more effective to use that Fonehouse £10pm deal (after cashback) as leverage in negotiation, assuming you're already on a monthly rolling basis like me with 3.
Heat added OP. Was about to post this and saw you beat me to it.

Sometimes the discounts don't show. I'd just message them and ask to be changed to that discounted plan because 12 X £0.75 is still a £9 saving overall

or two pints of Stella - thanks
just asked customer services, got a really prompt reply re current customers getting the new plan - response was " Can i ask where you saw this deal as this is not a deal i am aware of?"

Sent link and screenshot but i see in the T and Cs it is only new customers only so realise im on a hiding in to nothing

Smarty usually still change people over to deals that state new customers only - good luck
it was no good - if i switched to this deal i would go to £20 after 12 months and not keep my lifetime £18.75 - you don't change your barber for sixpence !!!

from Smarty ---- thanks for that. we can switch you over to this plan if you would like although the discount you get is for life but this promotion is just for 12 months so if you switch to this it wouldnt be possible to get the lifetime discount back

I can't imagine being on a 2nd priority data MVNO of 3 when I could barely get three direct to work (was on £8/mo unlimited everything including 5g and even that wasn't worth it!)

Three have the exact same deal as smarty Via U SWITCH

If you don't mind being tied into a 12 month contract, then Three looks the better option.

So it's 1000GB data. Wish companies would just put that. It's not unlimited.

Weird. If I go to my TCB account, I'm only offered £12.75, but if I visit the page without being logged in I see the £15.75 figure. Is this a Premium member rate?

Cancel? And get this deal? That’s what I did last year when they offered other deals cheaper. Should work.

That would work but SMARTY honestly don't care about whether or not you're a new customer. Even if the terms and conditions state the deal is for new customers only, they will still happily change you over to that deal. That's as long as you message them on web chat, not social media

Mine is good at home and pretty much terrible anywhere else now
I like Smarty, just opened a chat with them yesterday and they switch me immediatly to £18/m from £20/m unlimited and even gave me a £2 refund on my latest monthly payment. I have a Smarty sim in a Huawei B525 router which gives 65-85 download speeds and 30 ups, mind you we are just a few 100 metres from a transmitter which helps. Was previously getting 20 down with Virgin fibre and paying a lot more, go great move.

Yeah I think as it's three masts obviously three have priority and smartys signal is second

Had bad reviews from friends and tried it as well will not return unless they improve their network
