nice looking , great if you eat lots of fresh food and not much frozen

Good price for a good branded fridge

why are these fridges so expensive!

We have an older version. Two of the door pockers fell off due a design fault with the brackets moulded into the door snapping. Other than that it is a great fridge.

£700 and only a one year warranty! Nothing like trusting your product.

We have a smeg, looks fantastic but an absolute piece of tat. Not worth the price tag. Voted hot for this deal tho as I very much doubt you can get one for less

Fantastic deal... Haven't seen one for this price before

Before buying a SMEG, check the online reviews. They are appalling.

I bought one and couldn't believe how poorly it was made given the absurd price.

Don't touch with a bargepole.

It's the Red Dwarf sponsorship, bumps up the price.

Smeeeeeeee

save your cash and get a Beko...

This coating scratches rather easily

I hate smeg, don't see why anyone would pay to have it.

What an unfortunate name.

What kind of complete wonk would buy such a fridge?

Overrated pile of junk...

Agree with the negative comments, had a Smeg fridge which just wouldn't stay shut. Unless you slowly closed it and held it there you'd come back in the kitchen to find the door open. It wasn't this model though.
Also had a Smeg gas hob and oven. One day I cleaned it with a wet cloth around the control knobs. I then noticed my damp cloth had removed all the control markings so had no idea which controlled what and what temperature it was at.
Those two things made me never want another Smeg product again!

ok, but looks a bit old fashioned

I think that might be the idea...

Good deal for a Smeg fridge, but I still don't see why people pay so much for a (relatively small) cold box in which to keep their food.

Heat added, OP. Good find.

I bought an imitation Smeg fridge once. It looked identical but on the front it said sNeg. It was neg

Wallace and Gromitt had a Smug fridge...

Smeg are entirely carried by their quirky name unfortunately, IMHO. My folks recently moved in to a new house which was fitted with Smeg appliances (fridge freezer, cooker, hob and microwave) and it is obvious they have all been made to a price, and a low one at that. The fridge freezer has also been removed twice now to sort a dodgy drip tray that doesn't catch drips! And it subsequently leaks all over the floor.

I recon if you get someone to chop your arms and legs off and then put them in separately you'll get in fine.

The weird thing is people like these Smeg fridges for looking retro but then they've covered it in neoprene (that rubbery stuff you get mobile phone cases made out off from eBay for ~ 5p). Classy look...

The built quality on these is very very cheap. Can't believe how flimsy they are. Definitely a case of style over substance.
