At first I thought you must have done a typo with the price, £111.96 for a kettle seemed ridiculous so I clicked though to see its normally £160!

I am not sure what kind of person would pay this kind of price for a bog standard kettle but at least you are saving almost £50 while being conned

I have this kettle I paid abut 100 pounds for it on sale.

It's each to their own isn't it but i liked it because it's a pain when you drink hot chocolate and you need water in it that hasn't boiled and you have to remember to not get distracted and if you do you have to run to the kettle to switch it off before it boils so this is brilliant for me as I can adjust the temperature on it so the water isn't boiling

Totally...I have a Dualit and solid build quality. 85C is a great temp to brew leaf tea so I’d be tempted at this nearer the £120 mark.
£150 on Amazon. My own opinion is you would have to be certifiable to pay >£100 for a kettle but I freely admit to knowing nothing about the world of Smeg afficionados. Then again I have a sufficient capacity of logic to avoid voting on deals I know nothing about. This, very obviously, does not deserve negative votes
I get this has a specific function for some, but whilst not that common, there are cheaper, variable temperature kettles. Also and Lidl do then every so often and Bosch do a couple around £60-80 and well reviewed by Which.

This SMEG is rated as "Don't buy" at only 38%, with negatives being over-boiling, slow, not able to do just one cup, poor filter and noisy!
