Smilers 2015 - 1st Class Stamps x 12 - £7.56 @ PostOfficeShop

I was just buying some stamps ready for Xmas cards and stumbled upon these gorgeous (smiler) stamps on the Post Office Shop, I've never seen these anywhere even though they seem to have been out for a while..

I know you can buy regular stamps at the same price if you just want a normal 1st class stamp, but i think these deserve some heat as they are great for personalised gifts or family occasions.

Designs:

- Well Done – the ‘1st’ is representative of success and a
broad range of achievements.
- Mum – celebrates multiple occasions such as Mum’s birthday,
Mother’s Day and ‘thank you Mum’.
- New Baby
- Wedding
- Happy Birthday
- Dad – celebrates multiple occasions such as Dad’s birthday,
Father’s Day and ‘thank you Dad’.
- Grandparent – celebrates multiple occasions such as
a grandparent’s birthday or a ‘thank you’.
- Love – celebrates occasions such as Valentine’s Day,
anniversaries and weddings.

Thanks, never knew about these, and doubt who I send them to will either.
Where's the deal?
Not an actual deal at all. I have had these stamps for ages. There is one major flaw with them, which is that most people will find that one or two of the stamps have no relevance to them. I felt a bit silly sticking Dad and New Baby stamps onto rather official post that I was sending. They're not even big stamps, just ordinary sized. Also, you just get the stamps, ie. on the second large photo, not the stickers beside them as far as has been my experience.

Royal Mail need to sort themselves out so that we can buy books of limited edition stamps in just first/second class again. Apart from Christmas now and these ones, you can only buy books with two limited edition in and something like four ordinary stamps in with them.

I wouldn't buy these for sending "Official" mail.. and i dont think Royal Mail have designed them for that purpose.. these are an additional stamp for those special occasions to make the post more personal.. you might use them all or you might not.. maybe your at a friends or work and they need one.. sharing is caring

True, its not a deal (as in there reduced etc..) but its a deal never the less as ive never seen these anywhere before (and i buy a lot of stamps) and its something different, plus i couldn't find them cheaper anywhere else..

You won't find them more expensive anywhere else either, and they are easily available. Hence, not a deal. Clearly theyre not really meant for "official" purposes, but if you don't have a use for one or more of the patterns, you're not going to just not use them, this is a money saving site after all.
How about stamps that have, sorry, regrets, condolences, forgiveness, sadness, etc for those sad days?
