Expensive but I suppose it is delivered.
Odd though how theres lots of CCTV cameras in public areas that rarely come with any warnings.
even something like this would do.
This is a great idea Would be good to laminate it after or use a waterproof printing paper👌
Yeah, we're in an odd world now legally speaking. GDPR really has messed things up a lot. I'm pretty sure you could still overturn a prosecution if you were charged with breaching GDPR and data protection laws, if you operated cameras from your property looking into public areas. GDPR only applies to organisations and I don't see how someone's own, personal, private camera system, from within someone's own property, can be seen as you operating an organisation (unless it's a business address). It's so murky, so many conflicting issues. I'd advise not putting up signs unless you're just trying to deter nuisance behaviour, it'll make criminals think you've got something to hide in my opinion. I know if you're in public, as an individual (not "on the clock" or somehow "working" in another capacity) you can lawfully record everything you want, everything (literally), so long as you're not "targeting" individuals in any other unlawful way. In my spare time I do photo/video journalism (it's a great time in history for this, covid, cold wars etc) so I need to know my rights - the amount of people who approach me thinking I need "consent" to record is astounding. Public means "public" for a reason.
