Hide it somewhere obvious, fill it with rubbish. Hypothetically if burglars break in, they will get distracted thinking the safe is full of valuables. They will probably give up trying to break in to it and steal the entire thing (doesn't look like it would hold up much of a fight).

Put your valuables in a box of Rice Krispies In the kitchen instead . Its all about diversion.

I have a look at the moment, but I think I have a look at the same
Worth it just to keep important docs etc in one place.

Good for household privacy / security (to keep away from others in house) but will be fairly easy to just steal even if bolted down. Wouldn't trust anything serious in anything but a big and heavy alarmed safe & even when bolted I'd still be inclined to put some flat weights inside in some available space to make the thing totally nonviable.

Quick bounce on a mattress and it should open up instantly. Make sure you bolt it if you do buy it.

Phew! Good job burglars don't read these posts lol
you can set your on combination which is private and regardless of what you set criminals can use the master combination which over-rides yours, which is either 000000 or 123456

About as safe as leaving your valuable other front doorstep

Fancy forwarding me your address? You've got another coming for breakfast tomorrow
Hide the money under the soap.
The dirty burglars won't look for it there..........
Not sure the word 'safe' should be used for this metal box!

Looks so easy to open in the most basic way!
If this is not secured in the wall or with some magic bolts, you can unlock it with so called gravity (which obviously does not exist - buoyancy & density does)
So all what you need to do is to lift this safe and throw it on a bed with springs, and it will unlock itself. If you have one or similar, try it.

It is useful only for hiding some stuff from your kids.

Great stuff Sidney. Don't forget the Rice Krispies though

Totally agree.
These safes are magic, they give the illusion of security.

Hi everyone. Save yourself time and creating a mess in my home as anything that is worth nicking is in HERE.

And....

Dear Screwfix employee you now know I've bought a safe and have my address on file*

*Please note not all Screwfix employees are dodgy.

Safe is of no use, best protection is a half starved Bulldog or Alsation,a dog is a great deterrent. ( Ask any Policeman )
I get what your all saying about not being the best place for valuables.
I have one - slightly higher spec find it good for important paperwork, medical cards, birth certificates, EHIC cards, passports, warranties etc that way I don’t loose them. Also handy to lock kids gaming controllers or mobiles when they avoid homework. Works a treat.

Any tea leaf worth his salt wouldn't be reading here... they'd be off round John Lewis having a spend-up!!
Yeah, I dunno why someone would pay such a small amount to protect their most valuable possessions. Thief’s seeig this would just take the whole safe, so either way you’ll still lose your stuff lol

More bang for your bucks
Baby I was a rich man.
I kept all my money in a big brown bag inside a Zoo
What a thing to do.
Now I'm a poor man 'cos I can't remember which Zoo.

So why would I need this piddly little safe, which you can simply 'pick up and carry away!' and then bounce up and the door opens!
Better idea, as you're gonna waste your money, just send it to me. I won't put in inside a big brown bag inside a zoo, I'll spend it!

Again isn't this just a distraction decoy; uses up more time from the burgular....
Just bought one of these and am delighted with it. A genuine steal at the price.
Safe bruv 👌
A friendly piece of advice stick to the conventional key locked safes, as the cheaper electronic safes are easily opened without the code, don't believe me? check out youtube you will be surprised how easy it is to crack... Good for locking the kids sweets away though.... lol

Brilliant and true.
Wives just there to suck...yer wallet dry!
Don't think Alias Smith and Jones would bother.
I work for a safe company I agree these are poor quality and easy to break in to but buy a real safe for expensive items and put a bag of marbles in one of these and make this one easier to find. They will take this one thinking that’s the only one you have. Too tip !!!

Even if the thief has a steak filled with sedative or poison? Seen it in so many films but I'm sure a hungry dog wouldn't refuse in real life either.
