Would this work on an 'up and over' garage door? I've always felt uncomfortable by my garage door, and seeing some videos where similar doors are just bent out of the way I am thinking of putting something extra in place. At the moment it's just got three pins that lock it, one at the top and one each side.
I would think that would work fine on my up and over garage door. Would just need quite a few holes drilling through the door for all the brackets. I also think the Screwfix photo shows an incorrect assembly, as surely the bracket on the right should be at the handle end and set so that it can hold the handle in the "unlocked" position.

What I have had in my garage door for about 15 years is these: ebay.co.uk/itm…j~Q
I drilled holes through the door so they can be unlocked from the outside. Use WD40 occasionally.
does this go into the ground or across 2 garage wooden doors?
