Sorry, don't know at this point as I bought it on behalf of my neighbour, who's not in now. I'll text him to check when he returns & get back this evening/tonight if possible.

P.S. Found the following about it from another website, but I don't think it's what you're specifically asking: "Power and surge neon indicator alerts the user to turn off the sockets when not in use and when power is active"

Might as well grab a couple at this price. Especially as I've just spilled wine on the one in my living room.

Thanks OP.

That's not a problem at all. I've searched all over the web but can't find any information regarding it haha! If your neighbour gets back to you about it, please do let me know. Thanks Crossbow!

He has gotten back to say yes, & I've also found this on the SMJ website: smjuk.com/pro…927
"Power and surge neon indicator alerts the user to turn off the sockets when not in use and when surge and power is active"

@DrPorkchop303 - Edit 1:come to think of it, it still may not be exactly what you're looking for, so I'll have a look myself if possible & get back...

Edit 2: I also posed the question elsewhere for an identical unit & the seller has gotten back to say "Yes each switch has its own neon light"

That's great. Thank you for finding that out, much appreciated!
Is there any extension cord with USB outlets as well?

No problem, BUT someone else has now gotten back to say this: "I am afraid each individual switch does not have it's own neon. There is a neon for the entire extension lead."

P.S. I'll try to have a look myself today if possible

@DrPorkchop303 , I've had a look & taken a photo & yes it does...the switched on ones light up in red:

Yes, many: cpc.farnell.com/w/c…ICE

What are all the features it needs to have - how many sockets? Cable length? Individually switched? Surge-protected? etc, etc?

Thank you. Was looking for a surge protected one with individual sockets preferably. 2m cord would do, minimum 6 sockets.

I know. I got a surge protected 6 gang 2m individual socket extension cord for less than £5 on CPC 4 years back so cannot justify to pay so much for just added USB ports.

Those kinds of deals are a rare one-off. Anyway, your choice if you can do without.
I know the deal is over but I thought I'd provide feedback just in case.

I had this show up a few days ago. I had a noticeable rattle to it. The packaging didn't look damaged so I opened it up and once it was out of all of the packaging the rattle was much louder and more worrying. Something inside was freely moving from one end of the socket section to the other. I inspected it all over and nothing looked obviously damaged but while doing this I noticed it was screwed together with security screws. This highlighted a deficiency in my tool box so I ordered a cheap driver and security bit set which arrived today.

I opened up the socket enclosure and inside there was a metal screw (identical to the screws I had removed to open it) just loose. I'm glad I had the sense to not plug it in. There's no obvious damage and no obvious location where this free floating screw comes from. I put it back together without the surplus screw and tested all the sockets. They appear to work fine.
