About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Here we have 6 flavours of our awesome flavoured pork crackling, including 5 Great Taste award winners and our special edition Pigs in Blankets.

You will receive around 400 x 5g packets (approx 2kg) of crackling in each.

Black Pepper - Our Black Pepper flavour is more subtle than some of our porky adventures, but that's its beauty.
Low & Slow BBQ - If you love the wonderful, smokey taste of BBQ than this one is for you.
Marvellous Maple - Inspired by SP's love of a pancake & syrup breakfast, Maple is our first sweeter variety and is something genuinely a bit different. With a lovely sweet/salty balance, it’s still very much suited to accompanying a pint, but we've seen it demolished alongside all sorts of drinks and at all times of day!
Perfectly Salted - Our Perfectly Salted may not be the most flamboyant of flavours, but what it lacks in avante-garde thrills, it more than makes up for in brilliant basics: Crispy, salty awesomeness. Think of it as Team SP’s ever-present holding midfielder- others might have occasional fancier tricks and brighter boots, but this one is always the first name down on the team sheet.
Pigs In Blankets - Our limited edition Pigs in Blankets (PiB) variety takes what we see as the best bit of a Turkey dinner, aka the porky bit, and pays homage to it the form of some rather excellent crackling, housed in one of our gift jars. On top of its lovely flavour, PiB is a particular favourite as it's adding the essence of bacon-wrapped pork to a porky snack. Yup -Pig to the power of 3!
Salt ‘N’ Vinegar - Our Salt 'N' Vinegar crackling is a particular favourite at Snaffling Pig HQ and is almost universally loved when tried. As you may have gathered, we're big on bold flavour, so you'll be in no doubt what you're snaffling; this one is as tangy as it is moorish.
In 2016, the judges awarded our Black Pepper and Perfectly Salted stars in the Great Taste Awards.

In 2017, the judges awarded our Salt 'N' Vinegar and Marvellous Maple stars in the Great Taste Awards. Marvellous Maple won another Great Taste Award in 2021.

In 2018, the judges awarded our Low & Slow BBQ a star in the Great Taste Awards.

And chillax... our products are freshly sealed so they will maintain freshness and AWESOMENESS well past Christmas (end of Feb 2023). Like they'd be hanging around that long anyway. As if.

Only problem from what I see if you can only get 1 flavour.. it’s not all 6

So about 400 bags of 1 scratchings? I like these and have bought the near to end date 40g bags but this seems silly.

I'm pretty sure these are the tiny bags that they put in their advent calendars. Probably just selling the surplus. You do get like 2 or 3 scratchings in a bag.

Or if you want proper scratchings then go for the "good old fashioned pork scratchings" sold by Black Country Snacks on ebay.
Yes they are £11.99 per kg, with price drop on multiples, but it includes 48 hour postage (subject to strikes), and these really are the proper jawbreaker variety, often with crispy meat.
I've had 3 inch lumps from these bags. You would get nothing to fit in the silly 4g bags offered.
Snaffling screwed up the last time I ordered, and took 5 days to refund, with just a generic apology. They are not worth the effort for a short dated product

Black country pork scratchings are in farmfoods, 70g bags are 59p (I think) I won't eat any others now.

They canceled my last large order and didn't fulfil another. Our of pocket with Snacking Pig despite a generic apology.

I should have commented about the 20 percent off new customer code. Sorry! Still a bargain

Are these left over from their advent calendar?

Had these last year, few were stale but the rest were great.

got a refund, didn’t realise would be only 1 flavour - email said salt and vinegar
fair play to them they quickly refunded me and cancelled my order when i asked

I assume these will be leftovers from the advent calendar, be wary as over half the ones in the advent were rancid or stale

Just had these delivered. I got 460 packets instead of 400. Dated feb 2023 and they are decent tasting. I would decribe them as being closer to pork crunch than pork scratching. I went for the perfectly salted variety and i have to agree they are salted to perfection. Really impressed with the quality and price. Thanks op, now to share them with the wider family!

Hopefully mine are arriving tomorrow. I'll be happy as long as they are a nice snack throughout the day. I'll update after delivery and the all important taste test with a pint of cider, but great to hear yourself went well.

Ordered and arrived in 2 days, really good deal. Ordered a few things got free shipping and 20% off, so 2kg cost £6.80, but I did order a few for free postage. They actually had pork crunch reduced too, but both are now sold out. Thanks op
