Snapfish 1p prints

23
Found 26th Aug 2013
Got an email from Snapfish this morning with this offer.

50x 6x4 prints for 1p each

You also get free delivery if you order 250 or more so if you have a lot of prints it's worth your while doing that to get a discount off some of the prints.

If you were to get 50x prints at 1p each and 200x prints at 9p each.
With free delivery, each print would cost around 7p each.

Or if you just wanted the 50x prints at 1p each and delivery at £1.99.
Then the total cost per print would be around 5p.

The voucher code for the deal is: 1PRT813

Deal ends on 1st September!

So just wanted to share this deal with you along with the two possible options!

same here - will never use them again

Im the same with those people! awful standards, they must think we cant send these i had pictures of half body like arms and legs missing common sense!

I've never had any problems with photos from there - I just find that on each photo I have to drag the picture around in the frame to get everything I want in the shot as they tend to cut the wrong bits off when trying to keep the right aspect ratio.

trying to keep the right aspect ratio.

This is the key bit, 6x4 photos are a 3:2 ratio, most compact cameras (and I assume phones too) have a 4:3 ratio, which is a squarer image, so you'll need to crop the photo to fit, some sites offer a 6x4.5 photo size to match the 4:3 ratio without cropping, or you can go up to 7x5 (still not exact, but closer than 6x4).

If you're wondering what does use a 3:2 ratio, it's generally SLR cameras, both digital and 35mm film (except for Olympus's Four Thirds system).

hate them they ruined a photo book i once ordered from them heads half missing ,and the book was a right mess, pictures not in the right order, and the printing was rubbish quality too.

in their defense there is an option to edit the photos or print them as is.
if you don't edit them that's why you lose parts of the picture.

Managed to get 50 prints free and pay only £1.49 - I am a new customer though.

Cheers OP!

I have found using these and similar companies that if you create a new account and just change your email address you can take advantage of the offer again.

Just what I'm after for a year or 2 photo's, might actually make me print them!

I have birthday invites to print this seems very cheap way would they look awful?!

nice

Is there an expiry date on the voucher / code please?

Yes, 1st September.

Thanks

I received the email as well, just ordered. I don't like the quality of Snapfish prefer Photobox but I order photos for the kids. They have a little album and enjoy putting photos in it so usually take advantage of the offers.

People were saying about cropping off heads. At the end of ordering I usually choose the option for smaller photos and find that photos taken with a phone for example are printed small and then photos taken with a camera are printed at 6 x 4.

Received yesterday, binned today. Awful quality, wish I hadn't wasted my time. Will never use again!!
