The reviews look alright on this one (4.7/5.0). I've bought one for the RetroPie, so fingers crossed

£1.62 is almost a throw away price, but bear in mind that when these cheap "SNES" (not really SNES, a knock-off) USB controllers were discussed here previously, not all comments were good - hotukdeals.com/dea…883

The CN price is really cheap Buzz, surely it would cost them the asking price in P&P? X)

Yeah, almost too cheap

I'm using a Dualshock 3 on the Pi at the moment. But really wanted something along the lines of this for the Nintendo titles. I've had my eye on this for the older NES titles, and it looks great at £25, plus it's bluetooth

So the priority shipping costs £0.70, the Standard shipping is Free, BUT you can't unselect the tracking number, which costs £1.06 making the standard shipping more expensive than priority xD Okay.

Great find..Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean bud (I think I have an idea). Maybe try a different browser.

I own a Buffalo Snes controller and can also vouch for it as being a good retro controller.

Buzz, what did you end up housing your Pi in? I was going to use an old Snes game case, but not sure.

Thanks

or double thumb blisters for £3.24.

Its worth a try if your curious but if you plan on spending a while playing and if you can afford it, spend a little more.

Worst case scenario though I guess is you end up with a naff controller for not much money that you might be able to mod without too much effort to make it a little more comfortable.

I've been looking at this...

I must point out that I have no idea who the retailer is, or the marketplace they are on, but at £8, I want my Raspberry Pi sitting in that.

Right now, though. I'm being a bit boring and using the standard casing.

I couldn't get it to add that with the free postage, it always added on an extra 71p

OOS on the CN warehouse now. Pants. Amazing find though, Buzz.

Seen something similar before. I might see if I can get someone at work to use the 3d printer to do me something of a similar nature, either that or try to fit it in a SNES controller.

**** Dont bother. I bought one of these recently and button presses don't register half the time.

Anyone know whether this would work with the Amazon Fire TV?

sold out

the reviews for it seem quite good so I've taken a punt and bought two.

I strongly suggest if you've bought these you cancel your order ASAP. Both of mine are next to useless with the D-Pad not registering properly. There is a reason these are being sold off cheap.

I personally would avoid this.

The buttons and build quality on these are pretty bad and mushy. You will end up having a terrible experience on any games that require precise diagonals or any games that require you to grip the controller tightly such as street fighter.

Pay a bit more for something substantial such as this

These controllers are exactly what you would expect for the price. Mushy dpad and buttons.
Do yourself a favour and get an iBufallo controller, I can personally vouch that they're worth the extra money.
If you're looking for a bluetooth controller, go for the 8bitDo controllers instead, which i use on my pi
