You'd get more heat with the famicom pad picture. The US SNES colours are so ugly.

It tells me the code can't be used. Is it one use per account?

    Yes

This probably won't work with the SNES mini!

It does with a dongle :-)

Any ideas how this connects with the Switch? I presume we won't need a dongle as I can't see it going anywhere.

I have the sfc30 at the minute which is a Snes controller.. it works as if it's a pro controller (without all of the buttons, so Zelda and splatoon don't work, Mario kart is great though)
it it will be wireless and will sync just like a pro pad... well worth the cash! You hold select and a button to power it up in switch mode (also does wii, iOS, Bluetooth and others with different button selections on power up)

there is already a wireless adaptor out for the nes mini and it's the same Wii controller port on them both so it will work on the Snes mini too (the firmware updates on these devices are free, regular and easy to install) ... I want some commission haha (edited)

Really easy, just install the firmware and then set it to switch pairing mode. There is already older versions of these (FC30 pro and NES30 pro) that work with the switch, however they do not use USB C and have proper analogues like this one.

Great controllers. I have the FC30 Pro ( amazon.co.uk/8Bi…OY) and I love it. (edited)

Like others say, good controllers..excellent even. I use the NES 30 Pro on Breath of the Wild (Wii U) - £22.95 through EBay from China. Only quibble is the shoulder buttons position being a little awkward.

Interested to see how the shoulder buttons feel on these with the 2 row configuration. And will definitely get one at some stage.

Be mindful the firmware can sometimes be a bit random, requiring you to find workarounds on forums. Getting 1.71 (legacy)on mine for Wii U wasn't as simple as it should of been, their support page gives you an update package which is wrong

Disappeared now, 404 error, my preorder is still there, hope they honour it, i've got the £5 voucher on it! (plus the U.S. one looks ugly and I don't like the thought of the concave buttons.) (edited)

    Had an email earlier:

"Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below was changed by the supplier, and we need to provide you with a new estimated delivery date based on the new release date:

"8Bitdo SFC30 PRO Bluetooth Gamepad (Nintendo Switch)"

Estimated arrival date: October 31 2017" (originally 18th Oct)

So still on track, maybe they have just sold out of the allocation?
