Bought a bag of milk chocolate buttons today in HB for some home baking. They are packaged in bags that say Golden Sunrise Foods but on closer inspection the buttons have Cadbury inscribed on them.
They didn't make it into the cakes

I had a bag of broken chocolate from the same company - it was definitely Cadbury's. It was even on the shelf edge ticket. Have some heat for this post - Buttons are my favourite so this isn't going to do my diet much good!!!

golden sunrise are probably repackers , much like grange packaging in warrington that repack burtons biscuits broken chocolate fingers etc

The bags of chocolate pieces Karbra mentioned are better value as they are 300g bags for the same money, receipt also says cadburys

I resent that!

what is snidey mcsnidings ?

surely this is an issue for trading standards?

No issue for trading standards, most major brands sell off misshapes and packaged different, home bargains sell Cadbury fingers and biscuits packaged by another company too !! And I'm sure alot of people on here would know of alot others too.

Why is there no roll eyes emoji on here?

Cheaper than buying cooking chocolate they also have the Cadbury white chocolate in our store too !

Ever since this deal was posted my local stores seem to be running low every time I check
