They got that added quickly!
It's not much of a saving but it's a saving and I'll definitely be getting another couple of Joycons and this game.

Hot for now!
Joycon disconnected
I just find the price of these things stupid... I know the tech is good and all but £70+ for some fancy wii-motes...

I do want to buy an extra pad for launch... but the prices are really putting me off.
heat for the price

unfortunately the price is a joke.
I think buying these joycons might be a bit of a bad move. Wait for the inevitable 2.0 joycons that connect better. Gamexplain showed how easy these get interfered with, place something in front of them and they don't work. I wonder how well they will work on their sides.

Put any Bluetooth device behind a bag of water and it will struggle, there's no issue just click bait none sense

But its not water he puts it behind its his hand. And its not an isolated incident. A lot of gaming sites are reporting similar issues.

Polygon have a detailed article summarising the problem as experienced by a fair number of sources. All they can really say is that they hope it'll be remedied by a firmware update but there's of course no guarantee that it will.

Its an issue thats only going to become more prominent over the coming weeks. I only put it here as a warning for people already considering buying more when it seems the hardware is essentially flawed anyway. Im still going to pick up my pre order unit, but will be waiting on picking ip more joy cons in case the issue is only fixable with new hardware.
Don't see why it's cold. Surely you save some money vs buying them separately? Heat added even though I won't be getting this (no plans on getting additional joy cons yet)
Very camp!

What is your body made up of? Water. The problem only comes when you wrap the controller entirely with your hand. It's an easy software fix to boost signal strength but it's not needed as you won't be holding it like that.

Apart from early previews going as far as staying that they are unable to play it properly outside of handheld mode.

Plus games such as snipper clippers require the controller to be held on the side possibly blocking signal ect.

It could be fixed via a software update possibly. Or maybe not. But im simply stating how pre purchasing what maybe an entirely flawed / possibly broken product is probably a bad choice.

Personally im going ahead with my switch console pre order. But will be contacting their warranty department should my joycons not work as intended. I am sure you could do the same thing here however it might be a smarter choice to wait and see if there is an issue with launch systems.

You answered your own point. Wiimotes were £35. These are like having two Wiimotes. Hence the price.
