Fantastic discount but don't quite get the need for soda streams these days. A gas canister costing £10 gives you 60 litres of fizzy water but the equivalent cost of tesco value fizzy water at 17p for 2 litres comes in at just over £5.

Having said that, in my younger days I did find the soda stream invaluable in turning home-brew wine into "champagne".

And a word of warning - fizzy milk is not a smart idea - tastes f*** disgusting!
Oh, and a bit of rubber tubing, one end over the nozzle of the soda stream and the other attached to an acme pea whistle is a guaranteed ear drum splitter!
I've got a sodastream. It works out ok for me. I'm not a huge fizzy drink drinker so it is good that I can make a drink as and when without having to break my back carrying fizzy water from the shop. Then having to dispose of empty water bottles. It's not really cost effective but I like the convenience.

I guess the question is how many of those 2l bottles are over half full when they go flat?

Ah, but when they go flat I just give them a quick blast in the Soda Stream ... ah, wait a minute...
