sorted byThanks. Great deal indeed. Also, I just thought I would mention, if you or anyone else would benefit from cheaper cylinders I recommend selling to Drinkmate instead of SodaStream, I managed to get 3 cylinders for about £16 (about £5.33 each), albeit I did have 6 empty SodaStream cylinders to get £54 credit towards it. Drinkmate cylinders are compatible with SodaStream
No, you're only supposed to carbonate water with SodaStream otherwise you will end up with a big fizzy mess. Drinkmate can carbonate virtually any beverage but I wouldn't try it with milk (edited)
Carbonated milk or yoghurt is a thing but not with a Sodastream. It'll just make it thick and curdled.
What's wrong with synthesized food, I don't think Coca-Cola exists in nature.
Also all those ingredients have a purpose, any chemist could tell you that scary name ≠ bad or unnatural. Also most of these chemicals are derived from natural ingredients.
Yes you can, however the purpose of SodaStream is to reduce single use plastic waste, so by doing that, it defeats the purpose. But yes, it's possible.
including gas this works out to like 1.65ish per 2L so its cheaper in the supermarket most of the time. I get 2L bottles from the local cornershop for 1.25 a pop.
My parents would never let me and always wondered if you could get fizzy milk and what it would taste like if you did.
We tried it when we were kids, as soon as you release the bottle a wierd cottage cheese like substance came flying out the bottle and covered half the kitchen, after that we didnt taste it.
You absolutely can put milk in it. It’s not good for the machine but I’ve had Baileys Soda Stream before. Not sure I’d recommend it though
Pepsi seems to be £1.50 for a 2l round here so seems like a cheaper option
Lots of videos on YouTube from people attempting it
Hope it works for you. SodaStream and other sparkling water makers are designed to reduce plastic waste, just in case you enjoy it so much and a machine is worth it for you. However you make it though, enjoy
So did I! Thought Pepsi was branching out into the bath and shower industry!
My parents would never let me and always wondered if you could get fizzy milk and what it would taste like if you did.
Cool thanks.
Consider that itch scratched.
Happy to help
You don't need to buy a SodaStream, but if you want to use the syrups & make drinks in the intended purpose (reducing plastic waste) it's definitely advised. You can control how fizzy the drinks are with SodaStream as well, or better yet get a Drinkmate and you can recarbonate when drinks go flat. I have a SodaStream and wouldn't go back
Stay safe bud (edited)
I'm not saying this isn't a deal! Just think the world is a bit screwed.
6:46 - soda stream milk
Reminded me of this video when I saw your question.
I would add info if I could .
Heated
Mix that with Ocean spray cranberry squash. Now that's a drink (edited)
Sorry that’s what I meant as a syrup!
For anyone curious - the unexpected 'joy' of carbonated Baileys (jump to 1m45s if you're impatient)
Even in these weird times when CO2 is stopping production of Value-line sparkling water, you'll only pay ~39p/2l. After mixer that takes the price to £32.50 all in. And if you don't fancy messing around with mixing, this much Pepsi Max only costs £44 in 2l bottles, probably much less if you go to a bulk wholesaler (or find some dodgy 1.5l imports that all the takeaways use).
I'm not sure you'll ever be able to make an environmental argument for a device that literally wet-sharts carbon into the atmosphere.
I always say that would be amazing whenever someone says that, because it would
Hope you enjoy it! Do you have a SodaStream / sparkling water maker? Just noticed you said first time
I will just mix up with sparkling water, probably it works, I hope so
Any of this ingredients is natural and can be called food?
PepsiCo bought SodaStream, that's why
I do like SodaStream orange syrup, it tastes similar to Tango. I don't buy it though because it properly stains the SodaStream bottles and they are extremely hard to clean with orange syrup stains
