Size of the unit

Product Depth 60 cm
Product Height 48.6 cm
Product Width 108 cm

will that fit an amplifier ?? on the right hand side

torn between this and one from ikea....

also, annoyingly i've got a 500pt coupon for Tesco Direct - but you have to spend £20 - 2p short !!!!

pity there's no holes at the back for cables... at least from what I can see in the picture...

my 50" plasma would overhang 3" either side, you should be fine.

width wise I'd say yes, If it's tall don't fit the shelf or raise it.

I bought the Ikea one - Bonde I think it was. It's got frosted glass doors so it keeps the dust out and prying fingers too. I butchered the back panel about for cable access but in the end I just left it off 'cos you can't see it and it's much easier to acess all the bits and bobs. In mine, I've got an AV amp, CD player, Sky+, VCR/DVD onebox, DVD recorder, Xbox and another DVD too - don't ask the why's and wherefore's:-D

Atop sits the 42" plasma and the whole thing looks very neat:thumbsup:

I think I paid about £70 but they were selling them off in the Croydon store at £40-£50 IIRC, just a few weeks ago.

HTH

No, it wasn't Bonde - I've just checked out Ikea's site and can't seeit so it may be a discontinued line. Worth a look if you're near an IKEA tho'
