So it has a battery in it, I wonder if the internal battery can be charged via the sola panel?

I do belive it can, would make sense if it could anyhow

Probably not the same device but similar enough to give some idea of charge times, usage etc

absolutely useless !

what is the most common USB connector for mobile devices - other than the mighty A ..... micro USB

Guess what connector is not included in this product ....... yep - micro USB

Aldi - for this item .... FAIL !!!

going back even if it does work

My father bought one today, couldn't believe no micro USB. I think a lot of these will be going back as soon as people realise this...

I was shocked when I got it that it didn't, ordered an adapter but doesn't seem right, the one universally adopted charging point, first bad thing I've had from aldi

if this is a standard small jack connector then I think I have a micro USB adaptor to use with this charger

I agree with the other posters though, it really should have micro USB connector

It doesnt look like a 2.5mm jack, but does have an old Nokia adapter, which you can work with if I remember my jack types correctly

Agree with the comment about no micro USB connector, but if you phone the 0800 helpline, they will send you one free of charge. Got my connector yesterday. Keith
