Maplin Slough had two of these units: 12V solar panels giving
a max. of 12Watts. They had a big sign on then saying reduced
from £99.99 to £39.99.
However: I can't find anything of this spec. on their website
so it may be in-store only (though if you can find it online
it'll qualify for free delivery, being over £35 + check for
vouchers).
However2: I'd be completely amazed if you could get anything
like 12Watts from one of these in the UK - what with the sun
not being very strong this far north. Even at 40 quid it seems
expensive to me.
Still, might suit a non-technical millionaire with no impulse
control and delusions of "green-deur"

Will vote hot based on price alone, however dont know how practical this is to use.

I guess so cos this fountain pump kit has a solar panel that outputs just 1.8 watts!

You will get 12watts in full sun on a summer day but something approaching 0 watts at all other times.

This goes along the lines of the wind farms that are being put up running at only 12% capacity.
