Notice that this doesn't give the most vital statistic: how much power it produces - so expect it to be tiny. I'd be surprised if it even prevented a powered mobile phone discharging.

Anyone know how much those solar panel chargers for an MP3 player are on their own? I would guess their about the same price as this bag.

Saw this deal the other day. How powerful are these things?

thought you could get the solar panel by itself and attach to a bag, very useful for stuff like duke of edinburgh where breaking up hours of walking with a few banging tunes is infinitely helpful

Except you won't get enough power out of it for even one "banging tune"...
