This looks nifty!! It's a massage chair, for £99.99 @ Comet. You can pick it up at your local store for that price, or pay the extra £5.95 if you want it delivered. I wonder if this would be suitable as a computer chair... ?

Details: Solartronic TS808B massage chair - The perfect stress relief after a hectic day - sit back and relax in this massage chair with footrest, 10 massage modes and heat therapy pad for additional relief

Here, here, but here?

(As you said, IWOOT, but do they deliver to NI?)

EDIT: Thought so:
[email protected]

We are only able to deliver this product to Mainland UK Addresses, and … We are only able to deliver this product to Mainland UK Addresses, and NOT to BFPO, or UK Islands.

aparently this is better when the above chair was on offer

]it's only 79.99

I have been in to Comet tonight to try the Chair is as comfortable as any … I have been in to Comet tonight to try the Chair is as comfortable as any decent computer chair and it does recline, didnt think to much of the massage bit more like a vibrate. Gave it a good 15 minutes test.....Then I tried the chair next to it with one of these on HOMEDICS SBM-200 http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/p....do?sku=359181 Thats when it dawned on me I had just found my Xmas present it had little balls that run up and down your spine a proper massage I am currently suffering with my back and this was fantastic. If you go to check out the massage chair you will need to try the HOMEDICS SBM-200

I wonder if this would be suitable as a computer chair... ?

I was thinking the same thing, looks a bit on the low side though.

]good reviews from woolworths

Price comparisons didn't show it at woollies!! Same delivery cost, if you wanted that too.

EDIT - It's from Comet @ Woolies!!!

by the way this was 74.99 back in december so you are paying a more expensive price and expect it to drop again too

Might have to get one of these...........unless you are providing any massages Emma. ;-)

Voted Hot.

I'm liking the sound of this HOMEDICS cushion - available from Boots accordin to high street shopping (who paid me to find it ;-))! There seem to be loads of points available at boots too, so off there.

Thank goodness Comet wouldn't deliver here - may have jumped in!

well i think if u get it at boots if u include points it works out about £60

 Do u mean Homedics SBM-200 Massaging Cushion £99?

yep

I had a massage chair that I bought last year from Comet because I saw it on hotukdeals and I threw it away this year for these reasons:

1. It took up too much space
2. You couldn't use it as a normal chair because it had no wheels and was a pain to move around.

I think this chair gives better massages but if you're thinking of using it as a normal chair aswell, then think again!

Yes & no - that is the product, but at boots (and John Lewis I believe) it is £79.99. With quidco, etc., you could get the net price right down. Advantage points are very useful for air travellers - they do their meal deal in the airport shops (sandwich, drink & snack for about £3-4).

John Lewis has £15 off first orders over £75 at the moment and there is a free delivery code knocking about plus there's Quidco!!

You could also treat yourself to these ]Bargain Slippers :w00t:

I think John Lewis would be the better deal!!

Again though, it depends on delivery - I know Boots deliver UK wide - JL may be mainland only...

They do!!! Got it down to £68.90 - are £19.78 'worth' of boots points worth £11.09 + ~60p Quidco?

we bought one of these in December and use it every day, it's also used as a general chair in our house and it's quite comfortable. It's got rid of a lot of my aches and pains and it's quite relaxing at the end of the day.

I have just come back from TJ Hughes at Abbeywood retail park, Bristol and saw one of these chairs for £70, it looked the same going by the picture on the box. I cant find them on their website though.

I bought one of the massage cushions from lidl for about £30 a while ago it works in the car too.

Surely an imitation stressless chair from ebay would be a lot better.

:giggle: This afternoon i spotted in Home Bargains, Liverpool a Homedics microbead massage cushion £6.99 dont know what model and also a massager with heat control £19.99 not sure what make/model never had time but will find out tomorrow and let u know!

Just to confirm, I'm talking about the chair, not the cushion.

u can buy the homemedics sbm 200 for £80 reduced from £99 from argos untill the 27th july.which is much better as u can use it in any chair ,its mobile n good. ive just brought one .hope this helps somone.

I got one of these chairs back in december, and took it back mid feb as the basr under the seat is very flimsy and broke, im only 14 stone so not a big guy, just to warn you on the quality, oh, and just to verify a comment earlier, i would also say its more of a vibrate than massage. HTH

£80 is average - can be had for that with quidco & either £19.78 'worth' of boots points or £11.10 off (boots or JL) - see post 20.

been looking at massage chairs for a while now, i saw this chair on offer in store earlier this year, it wasnt that impressive. At best it buzzes and vibrates, and thats about it.

The homedics is in another class altogether, it actually kneads your back. I just recently bought the Homedics SBM 300 which was a consumer award winning massage pad, but its a bit more expensive ..
