Not HD and much heavier. As I mentioned the build quality is surprisingly good. In use the laptop felt pretty snappy, plus you get office 365 (okay only for a year), but this would be a great and very portable first laptop, something for simple document/picture editing and internet use.

Forget about picture editing, internet use limited to few tabs. Yes, deal I quoted has HD screen with better graphics processing than this. It has to be heavier because it's bigger, 15.6" screen - much better for editing docs without going blind

How you dare compare 64gb eMMC storage to 128gb ssd on Windows?... worlds away (unlike on Chrome OS), like that Pentium and this Celeron

Er... get a grip. "How dare" I compare a cheap laptop with adequate speed storage (still much faster than spinning disk) to a completely different non-HD laptop that will still be underpowered for running full fat Photoshop.

Yes, I dare.

The deal is for a great little starter laptop that would be ideal for kids or people not wanting to do bitcoin mining, but don't take my word for it. Take a look at a few of the reviews on Amazon.

My niece absolutely loves hers and hasn't complained about speed or not being able to open 100s of browser tabs when doing her stuff. It's horses for courses mate. You need to learn how to take constructive criticism.

YOU need to get a grip, you don't know what you're talking about

I say it again: laptop I quoted IS HD (it decodes h.264/65/vp9 video!). Get to grips with the truth! It's a much superior laptop...

You try to run 'semi-skimmed' Photoshop on your daughter's shiny machine, let me know how it goes mate...oh those paid-for Amazon reviews, how impressed I am

I definitely think you need to learn to take constructive criticism...from those that know more about tech than you. It's called 'humility'...

Now that I'm muted (thank god) I can suggest that anyone who's interested in getting an unbiased opinion on this particular deal has a look at the Amazon reviews. I only wanted to share my experiences of looking at my niece's laptop, which is ideal for her needs. It may not suit everyone, sorry the messages got a bit out of hand, but if you look at xavierluther's profile you'll see they've got "form" for this. Hope it didn't put anyone off. It kept me amused troll-baiting for the afternoon, which I guess makes me as bad as them. Sorry.
