Out of stock

I managed to get this in my local store in Sevenoaks for £4.99 at the weekend but I'd def buy it for £9.99. It's a really good quality floor.

Norwich have 4

Anyone know if this is a promotion on current flooring or are Wickes trying to clear stock of a dis-continued line?

If the former, then it will be worth a (couple of) visit(s) to my local store to try and get in on this deal.,

If the latter, then it will, knowing my luck, be a wild goose chase.

Chippenham had 31 packs showing, phoned and they're 'reserved'. Stirchley in W Mids had 15, also 'reserved'. Nice and hot if you can get em.

Wish I needed some.

This deal is now closed, can't see'em on wickes website anymore

Is is solid oak or "solid wood" engineered flooring made from mainly aesthetically ugly wood with a 2 or 3mm layer of nice oak on the top? Either way, it'll look good laid if you look after it (shoes off please!) and it's a good price. Just make sure you have enough to finish the job if this is obsolete stock. Overbuy by at least 10% on a large room and 20% on a small room for offcuts (sorry if i'm teaching granny to suck eggs to many here).

We ended up buying strand woven bamboo flooring for most of our house, it's hard as nails, much tougher than oak, has no knots, but each piece is unique like solid wood and it's water resistant for bathrooms/kitchens etc (we had solid oak in the livingroom at our last house , it looked scruffy in no time - "hard wood" isn't that hard in many cases).
