"Each plank is of random length. Each pack will provide 1 square metre of real wood flooring."

How easy is it to fit this stuff? It's not like laminate that locks together is it?

Follow the link, it looks like tongue-and-groove composite.

Their 'solid walnut' seems a good deal by being half price, but the description isn't very good as it says its laminate which I find strange.

Yes I noticed that.. it also does not indicate the width or thickness... no wonder no one buys it and it's in the clearance!

Cool price. But this is not really something I could buy 30 boxes of wihout being able to look at it... Is there a way to check this out before buying? (like one of them "Tesco Home" stores or something)
Anyone done something like this before? Other cunning plans? Thanks.

It says its not REAL WOOD, in my eyes know way was this worth full price.

Far sooner go and see it in the flesh before ordering

ive see this last night, it says to fit as a floating floor, just wondering if it really needs to be floating and if i could just lay it down.

What does floating mean??

It works like laminate - you glue the planks together & their combined weight keeps them down..
Cheers
John

Now expired Showing as out of stock.

FWIW, I think these were real wood strips/planks tongued & grooved on all 4 sides, pre-finished in lacquer. The term usually used for plywood wih a wafer-thin layer of oak on the top (like 3mm) is "engineered". There are also "3-strip" variety that comes in large planks similar to laminate flooring.

Disclaimer : I am no floring expert - just beeing spending too much time doing research for a floor we need to get in our house.

It was a good deal while it lasted anyhow. Rep added.
