I can safely say that Sunny Beach is an absolute s'hole.

When i visited unfortunately, it was having plenty of drunk Germans around

Makes a change from drunk English I suppose.

Limited public sunbathing area on the beach as the hotels have bought or secured large frontages. Be prepared for a quiet snigger as you look at the local whales pretending to be Mafioso, wearing gold chains that would make a rapper jealous.
Local beer and food is a great price for our money, and the local supermarket is reasonably stocked.
Advice. When approaching the area from the airport, keep eyes right. The other side is just desolate rocky wasteland, and both ugly and a shame to see.
I stayed at the Hotel Bora Bora, who open their pool and eating area to non guests, and represented good value

Terrible place to stay. This is not a deal. Should be removed.
