Part of the storybook series of games that began with 'Sonic and the Secret Rings,' Sonic and the Black Knight brings Sonic into the world of Arthurian legend and offers the worlds most infamous blue hedgehog the chance to become a knight. Using the unique Wii control system, this exciting game will take advantage of both the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk to offer an interactive experience that any Sonic fans will love.

Created by Sonic Team in Japan, this innovative game takes Sonic into a medieval world and arms him with a sword to aid in his effort to save the day. Sonic and the Black Knight will provide Sonic fans with an irresistible cast of characters and teach them all what it takes to be a true hero and the ultimate knight. With a series of missions taking place in stunning Arthurian-inspired locations, Sonic and the Black Knight promises to offer a fast-paced adventure that gamers of all ages will enjoy.

GamesTM gave it 8/10, 'nuff said.

No I haven't played it myself for the record, but Retrogamer gave it a similar score (don't have the issue to hand) and both mags said something like "best Sonic game in 10 years". Apparently the reviews which complained of the swordplay got the wrong end of the stick (or sword?), as you aren't supposed to STOP and fight, you're supposed to time your slashes right and stay speedy (i.e. there's skill involved -in a Sonic game- fancy that!?).

Only reason it's not in my eager hands, which don't have enough time on them, is I've already got Madworld and Little King's Story this month. Wii drought? I really wish the naysayers would put a sock in it! (referring to countless blogs and so called games "sites").

Sorry... I tend to ramble... heat added :).
