Lidl have a sonic toothbrush with 3 heads and 3 year warranty for £14.99 from the 15/ 10.

For £16 you can get an extra set of 4 replacement brusheads.

Haven't a clue if any good but price seems alright with 7 brusheads.

We have Phillips and the brush heads are extortionately priced - much like Gillette razor blades.

Might give it a go as about the same price of 2 replacement Phillips heads!

LIDL ARE - LOD OF CRAP. IF ITEM GOES FAULTY. NO MATTER HOW YOU PAID. WHEN YOU RETURN THE ITEM TO THE STORE THEY WILL ASK FOR YOUR ADDRESS AND THEY SAY THEY WILL SEND YOU A CHEQUE WITHIN 28 DAYS. (BUT THAT WAS THERE T&C FEW YEARS AGO. SINCE THEN I HAVE NEVER BOUGHT ANY ELECTRICAL ITEMS FROM LIDL)

THANKS FOR THAT! - Keyboard PROBLEM!!!????

If you hadn't edited would probably have left it - but you did and it still came out like this?

Must remember to not be discourteous to others - even though I think a nice black badge saying that I have been repeatedly suspended and discourteous would be the highlight of my badge collection!

Every human being has a b hole, an opinion and a mouth.

When you start getting them confused and have a "brain fart" is it not time to review the nonsense you are putting in writing, on the internet?

Hasn't everyone got some kind of spell or "sense" checker?

If not then THERE ARE A LOD of nonsense!!!

Lidl warranty if its 3 years - first year is with store (reciept needed) no details give. the next 2 years are through the manufacture/customer services

LOD OF CRAP

HOT, got them 10months ago, still going strong

I've had one since march and first brush head is going strong.

Stays charged for 10 - 14 days of use.

Has 3 settings. High, soft and pulse.

Teeth feel very clean after and is better value than the £30 oral b i had before.

I would reccomend

Tell you what, treat yourself to a new brush head, whether or not you think you need it oO

I had a jet washer from lidl that broke, they refunded me immediately in store. They must not have liked all the shouting from hafizpatel.

What's the availability of replacement brushheads like? Do Lidl sell them as part of their normal grocery stock? Are they compatible with other manufacturers' heads? Thanks

I don't know but I'd probably by a couple of extra packs - think you're supposed to change the brush head every 3 months. In theory you could just buy one extra pack and use 11 over 3 years instead of 12 all for £20.

These come up every few months and I expect from same manufacturer so you'd probably be OK. I'm almost certain they won't fit any other brands brushes.

Also haven't got a clue whether the brush or heads are any good - can't find any reviews. I'm gonna go for one because I resent - and can't afford to spend £30 a year on brusheads!!

What I would say is this - since I have been using my sonic toothbrush, which is admittedly not this one - my dentist has consistently complimented me on how well I am keeping my teeth. Yes I am spending £30 a year on heads, but hey - £30 to keep your teeth in really good shape is a bargain. How much does 1 filling, cap or crown cost? Even with the NHS?

If you don't have a sonic toothbrush, and can get one of these, I heartily recommend you try it. If you can't get one of these, I would still recommend more expensive options, because even they are cheaper than tooth repairs and these things really do work.

I've had one of these for 10 years and its still going strong. Mind you it has had ten new brush heads and four new handles.

Only one brush head a year - that's gross!

Get the OFAH reference but isn't quite the same about an electric toothbrush. Where the handle has a 3 year warranty.

Picked up a brush and 4 packs of heads, giving me nearly 5 years' worth at one per quarter (including the 3 that come with the handle) for just under £25, which is less than the handle kit for many of the branded alternatives. I've never used an electric toothbrush before, so I didn't want to spend too much at first.

Can you let us know if it's any good please?

First impressions are good; it seems solidly built, but not having used an electric or sonic toothbrush before, I was mildly surprised at how little vibration there was - it's still necessary to perform a manual brushing action, but with rather less intense 'scrubbing'! On medium I found it perfectly comfortable and less uncomfortable than the brushing I sometimes get at my dentist. As for its effectiveness compared with a manual toothbrush, we'll have to wait for the verdict from my dentist at my next appointment!

Coming from an Oral B electric toothbrush, I've doubts whether this is doing much! The bristles seem much too flexible, and seems to tickle my teeth more than providing the resistance to actually remove stuf from between the teeth. A new Oral B brush head could make your gums bleed from thorough brushing the first few times, theres no chance of that with these, and I dont know if thats a good thing. Anyone else thinking the same?

Well, I floss and gargle with mouthwash beforehand, so I shouldn't have anything left between my teeth after those two steps...
