If I remember correctly - this one is okay-ish. Sonic 06 is the terrible one.

This one is decent, mix of 2D and 3D Sonic. Also IIRC this has been upgraded for xbox series x/s with FPS boost.

06 is the 2006 Sonic reboot game where some human girl falls in love with Sonic. It's riddled with bugs and very long loading times.

In my opinion this is one of the best 3D ones, as long as you don't mind the brawler werehog levels which are slower, so you spend more time playing. The levels where you play as normal Sonic are fantastic. Sonic Generations took the normal Sonic formula from this (as that was the part that people loved) and threw out the werehog to replace with classic 2D levels.

As others have mentioned before Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) was the awful one and Sega delisted that from online stores way back in the 360 days and stopped printing new copies about the same time.

What's with all the foreign store deals today? Have they started working again like the good old days?

Fake news!

I was always curious about this one and finally bought it. i’m enjoying the slower, more methodical were hog levels probably because i’m 40 lol. there is some good platforming to like there albeit some camera issues. I can barely handle the regular levels with fps boost, it’s just so fast. looks acceptable with auto dv hdr but you can tell this game could have benefitted from a texture patch. sonic generations on the series x looks almost like a next gen game. overall I recommend it at this price point

I forced myself to beat that game bugs and all in the early ps3 days of no games. I fell a lot. the inter species romance was cringe
