Still £4.80ish at Dresslily if you remember to use the D-points you get for signing up...

It won't let me use the discount code and D points together. Am I doing something wrong or have they fixed a loophole? Already have two on the way but another at £4.80 can't be ignored.

I've never used them before so can't speak to that. Although quite a few people have complained about Dresslily on here. Also, if you've used them before, presumably you won't have any "D-points" left to use? Whereas this code can be used by anyone.

But isn't the code for Geekbuying and D-points for Dresslily, i.e. different companies?

Yeah never worked for me. I can't remember much except that I seem to have the points but nowhere to put them.

Thanks for comment. I do have D points and can use them OR the code but not both together. Was just hoping that somebody who has bought them with both together can point out how it's done.

I'll rephrase. D-points for Dresslily can only be used once for new customers (presumably). Whereas this code can be used by new and existing customers of Geekbuying.

Also, a few users are pointing out that you can't stack the code and the D-points on Dresslily anyway, so it's moot.

Bummer, looks like you're right, just tried and could only use points or code now. Glad I loaded up last week.

This is indeed the cheapest current deal then

Is this plug any good?

I have 5 of these. One is connected to the bedroom lamp which helps me wake up in the morning as I have it set to automatically come on. I have another one in the sitting room that goes off at 10pm to remind me to go to bed. I think they are great. Another for the tv so i can turn it off without having to reach in behind the tv unit. If you have a low wattage electric heater you can also use them to heat particular room at certain times.

Does anybody know if this is a good quality brand? Would it be better to buy the TP-Link ones from Argos?

Very good brand. Mine have NEVER let me down.
So I can tell the lamp to turn on from bed instead because I'm too lazy to physically get up and do it.
Great plugs. I have bought them because I have breathing problems and struggle reaching down. Great for people with disabilities.
This coupon code has ultimately reached the limitation usage times.
Not working anymore

Dont forget, these are 10A so buy accordingly for what you are going to use it with before you set your house on fire.

Yes good point, the limit is about 2kw for these at uk ac voltage.
Have some heat! These Ewelink plugs are on a par with Smartlife ones in my opinion, but I do like the fact that they have a loop timer function within the app, quite useful for running a low wattage heater on and off.

This is still working for me. Maybe they had a set limit or something, but it's now even a little bit cheaper @ £5.59

Just in case you didn't manage to get one, this is back up.
Great smart plug, the only downside is it only work with 2.4ghz. I had to disable 5ghz from my Virgin Media hub in order to get it function.

Once setup to 2.4 you can re_enable the 5gHz again though.
Does anyone know if they stay true to their delivery estimates? I ordered last Wed/Thur and paid extra for standard shipping 6-8 days... wanted to get it asap for putting up xmas tree lights.

I have tried it, the plug don't work when re-enable 5ghz option. Not on Virgin Media hub.

Sorry wildheart3003. I wasn't thinking straight. I don't use the WiFi on the VM hub, I have a separate dual band WiFi router hard wired from the hub so I just had to temporarily ensure I was on 2.4 for setup. Sorry if it wasted your time but if you can get a separate router, I would recommend it for the flexibility.
Only compatible with 2.4ghz wifi it tells me???
How do these compare to the TP-LINK HS100?
I guess all they need to do is switch on and off... but is there anything else I'm missing?

Argos screwed me over, by cancelling my TP Link order (I ordered 9), and by the time I found out the next morning, they were sold out everywhere.

These could be a nice consolation.
