Sonoff are excellent. CE certified, I've only used the wire in one's, but they work as well as the TP link plugs I have for a fraction of the price

Do you need any extra hardware & is it easy to link to Alexa? Thanks

They work well but the ewelink app for your phone to control them drains my battery by 7% over the course of the day sitting idle. Not just my phone as my friend uses sonoff too and he experiences the same battery drain. The reponsiveness is instant for on off but at the cost of high battery drain.

Why wont it add to basket

UK plug type not available

Managed to order from desktop- try using 'request desktop site' from Chrome if using Android and you should be able to checkout.

Can anyone confirm if this will work with IFTTT?

Nope - just link the app to the alexa app. I don't have the battery drain issue other user mentions btw and I use it for a lot of stuff - in fact, you don't even need the app running once set up as they connect to the cloud direct

Pretty certain it doesnt without flashing new firmware (whcih i'm not even sure you can do on the plug)

Thanks, ordered 2. The buy button didn't work with Firefox on my PC but it worked OK with Chrome

Brilliant thanks, ordered two also using Chrome, I had to refresh the page twice before it would show the UK as available.

You can flash the plugs. Just need to dismantle first.

I have 10 in line sonnoff WiFi switches and since the better integration with Alexa works flawlessly with groups.

Cheers, ordered 2. Cheap for experimenting on how useful such a thing may be to me

The inline modules are £2.50 ish also, ordered a couple of the plugs and 4 inline modules, cheers

Wait a few secs and the price goes from 9.85 to 9.10 to 4,56. Bizarre but true...needs unexpiring.

Thanks ordered 4 and 2 switches too.

seems good value but I'm not sure what I'd use it for. Any restrictions due to ampage or watts on this?

Why has this been expired? I just ordered two. Be patient with the website and use your computer (didn't work on mobile for me).

What are the inline modules please?

Mine gone through ordered 5...Thanks OP

I've never bought from Banggood before; is free shipping ok, or do other tracked options get more attention from Customs?

How does this dismantling business work exactly then?

Easy enough?

not bad price ordered four.

Will flash with Tamsota like the rest of my inline Sonoffs to use with my Openhab system.

been cutting up some old PC kdettle leads and using the inline modules with these cpc.farnell.com/web…180 to make remote extension cables.

Thanks OP...Just ordered one to see if it is as good as my tp link plugs that work well with Home and Alexa.
I am in the same boat as terriclarkfan...never used banggood before...went for extra 71p priority mail.
What is the best mail option for them in the future??....as I know a lot of peeps on here use them regularly.
Guessing no customs/tax etc for orders under £15??
Cheers for any help!!

These, you need to wire them into something (lamp / 4 way adapter)

Got couple of the wired ones for heating and hot water never noticed ewelink app draining battery though
You say its instant mine is once app loads but that takes little while maybe battery drain is to do with how app has set up
on your phone . looked at power usage on my android phone ewelink app does not show unless used
