The price on these has been weird all year. They were around £315 in Jan but have been over £350 since. I am hoping the Arc coming out makes these drop below £300.
Look out for a refurb plus UNiDAYS code for £245 ish bargain

I have this in white and was purchased from JL. Great piece of kit. In order to get a true cinema sound I added a couple of ones and the sub.

Direct through Sonos?

Direct through Sonos?

Yes just out of stock currently but keep an eye out
There was a deal for a One (gen1) £123 ish with UNiDAYS the other day. White units available may still be some online
£339.15 direct from sonos for those of us with defence Discount/Blue light card.
Don’t forget RicherSounds will likely beat this price and give a 6yr warranty
Price on Sonos Beam has been fluctuating between £399 and 359 at JL for last 2 months. With us all in lock down and looking for kit to make watching films more interesting there is a high demand for sonos beam. So unlikely to get much discount at this time.
It was £399 a couple of days ago when Currys & Richer sounds were selling for £359 (now £399)
Have a Yam YSP2500 that’s getting on a bit and looking at replacing..

Looking at comparisons to try and decide.

Yes I noticed this too. Got a new TV from them and was going to put my £100 voucher towards a beam. When I order the TV 10 days ago it was £359. Then noticed yesterday it was at £399. Richer Sounds seems to be following suit with the prices too. Although they are currently at £399

Same here but only a single hdmi into the sonos may be an issue for me. I think bass will also be much less

They’re aiming for different markets, I would think, so not sure the release/price of the Arc would necessarily have any impact on the price of the Beam. Hoping it does drop, though, as I’d like another. Paid £289 around Christmas, and I think it’s good at that price, but getting expensive for what it is at the £359-£400 mark.

Agree bought one for 339 when it arrived .looks nice as needed to sit on wall mounted fireplace but sound is average tbh.
Have the playbar in extension which is a huge improvement over the beam .
Like someone else said they had to pair with 2 ones and sub and that's circa 1300 !!
Playbar sounds amazing on its own .
I had 2 beams. sold one of them got the arc now and 2 1’s

Had the arc arrived yet ? Watched a review on it and it sounds great but not enough to upgrade from a playbar I don't think

That’s the trouble with these, rubbish on their own and need an extra £900 spending to make a decent sound
How does this compare to this one hotukdeals.com/dea…212 which one is better choice

Tend to agree .It does the job and is probably the nicest looking bar out there.
Compared to my other Sonos products it's my least favourite sound wise behind the playbar and play 5 .

Has got mine from richer sounds no brainier with the 6 years warranty. I’ve had a beam since day of release downstairs always praised it. the ARC is honestly a different beast to any Sonos soundbar much better than the beam and it’s better than playbase. Is it worth it yes if you’re into atmos. I pre ordered the gen3 sub ages ago but it’s delayed and I haven’t got it yet but I should have a 5.1.2 set up soon.
Cold, usually this price all year round.

Im not sure I would see the benefits though, already got the sub and ones so it's producing a good sound now. Never watch blu rays too so Dolby Atmos wouldn't really work for me, I think you need a special TV to pass the sound through as well from the review I saw. But I think the arc will move the sound around the room and not rely so much on the back speakers from the video which looked really good, like having sounds above you etc

Atmos content on the built in apps on Netflix and amazon. I have a LG C9 so works flawless. Beam is still king of value tho but arc is for the audio quality

Yeah it's on some Netflix shows but not a lot ? From the review I saw anyways maybe it was wrong or they are adding it to more all the time ?

They are adding all the time now mate. That been said I watched vikings in 5.1 on amazon and was blown away could tell the difference from the beam vs arc it’s night and day. can’t wait for the sub now. Sonos really have hit the nail on the head great ego system at this point

The old sub I have made so much difference to the system, especially when playing music it really adds so much! I think if Sonos have me an upgrade offer I would get the arc but 800 when I already have the playbar seems a bit much at the moment... Maybe soon!!!

Can’t fault them can you! would never enjoy stock speaks in a tv
It’s been much cheaper in the past. I paid £286 18 months ago. Didn’t end up keeping it but it’s definitely been cheaper before.
Same price on Amazon

Exactly this
I bought a home cinema package over the phone at richersounds. They have the sonos beam for £359 with 6 years warranty. They also gave me £30 off the sonos beam when buying some other items. (Richer Sounds Watford Number)

Really struggling to understand why this is so hot? It's pretty much normal price. It might be the cheapest price at the moment, but you can pick these up for £280 to £300 at other times of the year if you time it right

They're more useful to people who are home 24/7, so they're willing to pay more
