I am currently thinking of buying this in white but do I really need it. I rarely use full volume on my tv my tv is an LG with 20 watt Harmon Kardon speakers is this going to make much difference to the audio quality as my tv is OK. Is this a huge difference and worth £300 of my hard earned dosh I would appreciate any feedback thanks.Having just watched the x factor I am sure most of the TV. Is pretty poor.

The beam is great had one over 2 years wouldn’t change it it’s good on movies excels in music, blew away on bohemian rhapsody but I wouldn’t not recommend anything else

I have the beam in white myself. Did have similar doubts but once bought and hooked up it made a massive difference. Wish I bought it sooner. If you want bass then you may need to invest in the sub which I did, it is pricey. Along with 2 x Ones it's now perfect.
Thanks I'm still undecided I did buy it a year ago same deal ebay peter tyson it was £280 with a code but I cancelled as I wasn't sure I needed it. Still thinking decisions decisions :/

I have the Playbar (paid £750 for it) and it’s epic. I’d love the sub but not sure the room justifies it.
The trouble is my tv sound is quite good it isn't tinny that's why I'm so unsure.

It's hard to say without hearing your existing set up

I have the beam with 2 x play 1s and don't think it's lacking any bass at all.

You can really tell the difference when the sub is hooked up.
Do i need it? Got playbar, sib and 2xones in a lounge.thinking of beam for bedroom ....do i need soundbar i bedroom ?....

Yeah, I'm sure I would but I find the bass just fine. I'm very doubtful though, that any perceivable improvement could be worth the cost of the Sonos sub. It's wildly out of kilter with the other pricing.

If I had the money to burn, I would. Worth it in my opinion.
The trouble with sonos the price is very very tightly controlled. Discounts are rare so when they are it's now or never.

Definitely worth the investment in my opinion. Made a huge improver difference to the sound quality. Each to there own I guess.

£10000 later, it sounds immense, a marginal improvement to the internal speakers?
Good god there repeating the blobby Williams Christmas show as I sit here thinking about purchasing the beam. I'm back to square one. Must be the worst tv show I've ever seen do I need a beam for this
I've just bought it in white. Still not sure but hopefully I will like it.

Nice one
As soon as I paid I got an email from PayPal free £20 on next purchase but too late for this one. I can't cancel again for £20 why can't life be more simple.

There is a good chance your TV has only 2 speakers. This has 4 midrange, 2 passive and one twitter. So can give decent dialogues and some bass for a small room.
Thanks yes I bought it only issue while I was deciding x factor and blobby Williams was on the TV. Two of the worst programs I have ever seen.
Only 4 black ones left.
£300 was my target but still not sure I need one...

...thought about it for an hour....

now ordered! :
hmm not sure if i want white, would be better in black i think

I’m impressed with mine. Hooked up to ikea Sonos Symfonisk speakers for surround sound
I like mine as well. Bass is good much better than standard TV speakers.
