sign up to their members club and get another tenner off which will make it £10.99 cheaper

This is a standard deal now from SONOS so will be available at all SONOS retailers, the problem is that you can buy them much cheaper from Amazon Spain (around £254 for the pair) so not really a great deal at any UK retailer unfortunately.

Shame these don't have Bluetooth

Trapping consumers in to an artificial false low price. These are not worth the price as a marketing ploy . Cold

It is a low price - if you are buying from the UK.

As above. This is cheaper than buying from Amazon in Europe which some people may prefer and you'd also get the proper UK fitting power cords with this deal too.

That being said. For £254 you can get two shipped from Spain inc shipping and then power cords are about £5 each direct from Sonos. They're not daft. They know where they're doing.

Richer sounds VIP deal does make it a bit more appealing though and then you can just get them delivered from UK as well.

These work particularly well in a stereo our as I have in our bedroom.

Still loving Sonos and not too fussed about any of the higher quality music setups you can get instead

If you find someone who works for Virgin, then you can get 20% off direct from Sonos

They don't have bluetooth but they will play off your iOS device directly over wi-fi - works really well.

Will they play any music apps though trough the speaker. Or does everything have to go through the Sonos app which is linked

What do you mean by 'music apps'? If you mean stuff like Tune In Radio, Spotify, Googe Play Music, then yes. If you mean DJay or Traktor then no, - for now.

There are some other apps which stream music not listed on Sonos website and it means I won't be able to play them

How does this speaker compare to the Samsung m3

Not listende to the Samsung but I was a real scpetic before I picked up my first Play 1. When I set ti up and heard it, I was well impressed and I'm a bit of a hi-fi snob. It works so well and the sound quality is rich and full. The key thin is the convenience of it all. It really make it easy for you to play your music library. When you use these in Stereo configuration, they sound even better. I would give it five stars and Ive heard things like the B&W Zeppelin/Mini - they aren't a patch on this.

I've had a look at the specs sample rates etc but how loud are they, what in terms of watts are they comparable with? I'd just like to know if they are enough to fill my room.

In terms of sound quality you can do the same/better for much less - but you will need more space for the larger speakers/amp etc ( the whole unit is about the size of a bag of sugar) and no wireless streaming. I bought 2 of these using the Very deal posted just before Christmas - I couldn't resist at that price, but I would think twice before buying again. I would guess the output as being in the order of 30/40W - little distortion when loud and one easily fills my 12x10 foot dining room - 2 operating as a stereo pair is even better.

Just went for this deal from the official sonos website as they have a 100 day return policy on the official website. Can test the speakers out and see what they're like and simply return if they turn out to be awful / find a better deal.
