I will probably order it with Amazon then, as I have prime. I wonder if anyone will beat this price
Plus flubit for extra discount
Seems to be a general deal on the price of this item at the majority of sellers at the moment.....

Although its no longer the newest member of the Sonos family, with the new Play 5 now widely available

Flubit comes back to me at £139.66 Including delivery
Did curry's do these 2 for £199?

Noticed Panasonic do this sort of thing now and the is a senario where Currys have there system starter reduced to £99 from £170 and Panasonic are offering £30 cashback. So the question is at £69 to £140 which one is better value ?

I thought thats what this site was about, you concider all the evidence on quality, features and price to come up with value. Unless that is you are happy to buy a name.

Fair enough, I have never used flubit before so not sure it's worth paying the extra £10 to go through Amazon. Does anyone know what happens if the unit breaks and I need to return it?
Hmmm tempting

Which retailer was it? Mine is superfi
Flubit was £291 for two for me
No thanks I say
Spending the same cash on Play3
I had the play 3 with play 1 in my set up didn't find much difference between the two so sold the play 3. Positioning might have had something to do with it but play 1s better value for money for me

Flubit is generally good they source a better deal for you based on the product, It will tell you the seller (In my case Superfi) so they supply and ship the item.
I think warranty would be done via Sonos direct but I could be wrong
Thanks for this. Got a white one for £141 with 5% discount.
don't see it at £149 on john lewis - have some vouchers too :-(
I am told you need two play ones to get a good experience from these ? If that's the case would a play 3 not make more sense ?

I got mine through flubit this morning for £137.75 So glad I waited a few days!
Expensive for just 1 speaker!
Not bought into the Sonos range yet but am keen.
Could this be used as a replacement for an amp to provide surround sound for a TV?

Hi, Personally the Play 1 is a better sound than the Play 3, 2 Play 1's in stereo were regularly mentioned as sounding better than the play 3 and old Play 5 and the new Play 5 is actually modeled on aspects of the Play 1, so its a good speaker, so for me, id say 1 or 2 Play 1's or a new Play 5 Gen 2.

Sadly not, if your keen to add a Sonos experience to your existing Amp the you could get the Sonos Connect which is about £250 ish and plugs into your existing amp, if your after a Sonos surround sound replacement then you need to look at the Playbar and then add Sonos Play 1,3,5 as rears but this is a very expensive way to go, but tidier. The playbar only supports optical and no hdmi inputs so whilst it sells well, it doesnt quite meet everyone's home cinema needs.

I've got 2 of these in my one bed flat, find them to be great. One is in the lounge and the other in the bedroom. The new update means that they tune themselves to suit their surroundings and adjust the equaliser according to their placement. After I did this they sounded even better. Rarely pair them as a stereo unit since one by itself is loud enough and sound quality is great. Was originally gutted when I moved and had to downgrade from separates but I just didn't have the space, while they'll never compete with a system like that, they aren't designed to. Couldn't recommend these enough!

Look at it as they never drop in price so you'll never lose much money if you come to sell it. You could buy a Bluetooth speaker for £100 and it would lose 60% on resale in two years if you want something better where these would lose 10% if you ever wanted to sell

True. I want to get sonos speakers but atm I'm not desperate for them. My uncle has the Soundbar, subwoofer, 4 of these and 3 sonos play 3 speakers in his house. I'll wait till he gets new ones and I'll have his ha

Lies. No one is currently offering this to price match to otherwise we all buy from the originally retailer.

They very reluctantly price matched my starter set to match the Martin Dawes deal last week after much email and screenshot evidence.
