Cue cold votes and ridiculous comments from people still watching VHS tapes on their CRT televisions, posting on MySpace from their netbooks and making phonecalls on a flip phone.

You missed out the planned obsolescence brigade and the Atmos brigade.
Damn I just bought one of these in January. Good deal.

Sonos are still selling the playbar, I doubt it will be written off anytime soon. The legacy items hadn't been sold since 2015.

Yeh apparently they'll support a product for at least 5 years after they've stopped selling it on their own website.
Got this playbar connected to 2 play 1s & a sub, definitely worthwhile getting the sub to complete the setup

Still think the beam a better sound bar for £200 less but there both set up for music Ian’s slightly weaker at audio from voice sometimes and can be quieten by the backgroun
I had one of these and changed it for a beam , unless you have a massive room or really want to crank the volume up seriously then for a £200 odd saving together with Alexa and hdmi input the beam seems a better proposition.

Price aside the Playbar is a great speaker if a little long in the tooth
A bit overpriced for a chinese brand, there are better options from Bose and Yamaha.
