What is the TV model? Can't see anything on the page.

40EX403 I think as it's only 50hz and not 100 like the 503..

It's not freeview HD like the other Sony models posted for £399!

Too late to get the vat back ?

tyrano

Too late to get the vat back ?

yes - if you bothered to read the T&Cs

Looks like every retailer is doing this for £399 just about.....

Must be a Sony funded offer for so many to be at the same price, amazon, sony centre, comet, and now argos....

BUT

Note on the argos site that this price only stands till 3rd Jan 2011 so anyone who wants it better get it from one of these retailers before it jumps up in price again - this explains why its cheaper than smaller sizes or same size with lower spec Sony tv's

It's the 401 I believe...

Anyone know the model number for this ?

good deal just a tip get over to currys and reserve one then get them to price match to get it even cheaper

How? It is sheer speculation as to what model this is!!

I believe it is the bx400. My mum pre ordered as it said it was initially £799. Her docket said bx300 but that's a 32 inch model. So presuming it is the bx400 which as far as I've checked online, has never retailed at £800. It's a new model to Argos but wasn't available to buy when I tried at £799. Me thinks that it is some clever advertising to make it appear half price.

Thanks!
So not even Argos know what model it is? X)

Folks,
Apparently it is a KDL40BX400 - quite an old model. Someone had to go in to find out!
