This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Sony KD-43XG8096 Refurbished 4K HDR TV with 4K X-Reality™ PRO, 4 x HDMI ports, TRILUMINOS Display, ClearAudio+ and Android TV™ - Grade A (mine was brand new TV with scuffed box) - selling elswhere (new) for £529 at Currys PC World. This model appears identical in specification to the KD43XG8196 selling for £579.00 but has different feet (as far as I can tell)

Picture performance is excellent and if you want a mid/higher spec TV in the smaller 43" region then this is hard to beat.

4 HDMI ports was one of the reasons I got this, so many lower priced TVs seem to have only 2 HDMI ports these days.

A really well specced TV this for the low price: Google Android TV, built in chromecast, YouView (freeview), Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 4 x HDMI ports.

Android menu and apps generally work quite well and I've not yet experienced slow responses as some have on previous models. Picture performance is generally excellent once you've spent time setting it up and I turned OFF most of the picture enhancement modes to get a natural picture.... in my opinion, using the contrast and colour enhancers or motion flow creates 'soap opera' effects which I hate. Sound is decidely average as you'd expect for any TV these days, but it's better than most I've tried.

Only downsides I've got as an owner: cannot use USB hard drive or satellite input if you use YouView catchup EPG. Disabling Youview enables USB hard drive recording and satellite receiver but oddly removes All 4 and Ch5 player apps (requiring them to be sideloaded).

I think I might be a little disapointed if I'd paid £530 for this which is generally sells for new but for £349 and received next working day and in brand new unused condition, I consider it an excellet purchase.

Do you work for centres direct

No I do not. Check all my other deals posted, this is the first one for Centres direct. If the deal seems too positive and sales like then apologies, it is just my own honest opinion of my recent purchase of one of these.

Have a Few questions on this tv, if I can trouble you? How’s it been going so far?

Is this an edge lit IPS panel?

What’s the blacks like?

Motion?

Light bleed?

Any blossoming?

How about viewing from angles?

Hi there, my replies:

Yes it's edge lit IPS

Blacks are fairly good and consistent, a bit wishy-washy if viewed off centre (although it does have a good side viewing angle)

Motion is very good but only after I turned OFF all motion flow and contrast enhancement options.

Light bleed is a bit apparent at edges, not a problem but I see it around 2cm along each edge.

No blossom once i turned off most 'enhancement' options to pictures.

Viewing from angles is very good, better than most budget LCDs .

Android and menus are ok but a little 'all over the place'

For £350 I'm very pleased, may not have been so happy if I'd paid full price of £550.

Thank you so much for this feedback.

It’s such a minefield seems like for a 43 -49/50 inch tv there’s a lot of choice between the £350-500 bracket but at the top end of the price there doesn’t seem to be much more improvement unless you go to £700 and get look at the xg9005 or Samsung q70 range with the full array local dimming options.

With that in mind I’m tempted to just spend less on a decent 43” screen and save the money for now.

Now just need to get over to the retailers and have a look myself.

You're welcome. I also chose this model as it also has plenty of HDMI ports which seem lacking on many low to mid range TVs.
