Just wish it was a full frame lens!

Yeah. I'm trying to build up my lens for my Sony a6300. Any recommendations?

I'm still waiting for my A7ii to arrive so I'm quite new to Sony myself! Used to have the Fuji mirrorless systems so I'm researching lots at the moment

Sony 35mm F1.8, 50mm F1.8, Sigma 30mm F1.4, Sigma 16mm F1.4, Sigma 55mm F1.4, Sony 18 105mm F4, if you can get a good price on the Sony Zeiss 24mm F1.8 got mine for 225 off ebay, 10 18mm F4. these are the best of the bunch and maybe the Sony Zeiss 17 70mm f4 if you can get a good one.

28mm F2 is a very sharp fast focus lens for the A7 sonys you can buy an adapter that makes it a 21mm.

I have the 28 really like it, but rather than the adapter which softens the image quite a bit and isn't particularly cheap, the new Samyang 18mm F2.8 lens looks to be an excellent ultra wide at only £269 as an import, gets near universal rave reviews. My next lens if they get more stock.
Anyone got this? Considering this or spending more on the 18-135 for more versatility but less zoom

Got 18-105 and 55-210. Only use the 55-210 outside in good light when I need the extra reach and can use it wide open, it's easy to get a Teleconverter to increase to 315mm or higher.

I like the look of the 70-350 I think it is. Bit pricey for me at the moment though. I’ve got the kit (16-55 or whatever it is) and the sigma 30 so fancy a bit longer reach. The 18-135 might replace the kit and just have that and the 30 until I can afford the 350
Are there any Sony, Tamron or Sigma FF 70-200 lenses yet? Or is it a matter of using a Canon/Nikon version with an adapter?

5N and A6000. I've got 7-8 of the cheaper lenses but mainly stick with the 18-105 or sigma 30mm 2.8

ive bought the 28mm f2 but not used it yet,was thinking about the adapter just as an option when needed but might think twice, there not much reviews about it but the two videos i watched did say slight loss in sharpness.

Still have my original NEX5, not worth the hassle of selling, still it works fine and keep an old adapted Nikon pancake 50mm on it.

As mentioned above, it requires good light. It's also really soft. I don't use mine very often.

The 18 105 f4 is a better lens but only just but not sure how it price matches the 18 135mm the F4 at longer focal lengths will make a difference and if your using it for video it wont jump bright and dark as the F stop stays the same.

One or two not happy but what are they comparing it to ? 1000 quid lens, your YouTube reviews I've not really see anyone say it's not good and they were reviewing it as a 400 quid lens.

Yeah it’s just for stills. I might see if I can find a chart of what the apertures are at certain focal lengths.
39235955-A41sl.jpg39235955-wScMe.jpgI think for the price it's not a bad lens. Like others have said, it often gets compared to much more expensive lenses. Then again I've not got experience of many teles.

not really any comparable option on emount, may as well get one for this price

Sigma 16 1.4! Best lens I own
Took the risk. Decided to purchase this. As I need a lens for video work to zoom in while on a tripod.
