Thanks, the link's been corrected.
Cold, it's only 64.5 inches. Half an inch makes all the difference

Only joking, heated!

Any early review of its capabilities?
How does this compare to the Hisense 65" N6800 series, which goes for the same price range?

It looks like the specs are very similar, with the Hisense winning in some areas (e.g. sound is 2x15W in Hisense compared to 2x10W here).
"Awesome TV, as per displayspecifications.com/en/…bb3 edge-lit and HDR10 (10-bit HDR panel)."

This isn't a 10 bit panel though. It's 8 bit + FRC. To get 10 bit you need Samsung MU7000 or Sony XE85XX or above.

my bad, should've scrolled up to see the panel info, just saw HDR10 and thought that means 10 bit panel.

Only that its cheaper elsewhere!
It’s getting delivered tomorrow so no early review I’m afraid.

Also it's not really an awesome tv, it's big, but also very near the bottom of Sonys tvs for last year.

I guess that's debatable, you can't compare with higher priced models. I would standby my comment, it is an awesome TV for this price.

No, you said awesome TV. Not awesome for the price. Even if it was £5 it wouldn't be an awesome TV anyway.

it would be awesome if £5 was your budget and looking at TVs in the £5 range..

A couple of days after I bought a TV from RS they dropped the price by £50. They didn't have a problem refunding me the £50. So you should definitely give them a call and ask for the same.

That situation would be awesome, but the TV still wouldn't be.

Curious about what makes you think this TV is not. Which other 65” edge lit HDR10 TV are you thinking awesome at a comparable price
