someone needs to crack up the heat on this thread.

great value.

Brilliant deal, thanks for the link.

Does anybody know if this is faster than the 'SanDisk Cruzer Micro USB Flash Drive 8GB' at the same price in Play?

Yeah it is - the drive you listed is one of the slowest available lol

Review and comparison with other drives here pcpro.co.uk/sho…tml

Ok product, but worth a purchase at this price, even if the build quality isn't that great (but far from terrible too).

12MB/s read, 7MB/s write? a bit slow.

I ordered the SanDisk one from Play.com

Should arrive today.....

From reading reviews, the SanDisk one seems a better deal

HOT ordered me one of these.

Cheers!

Sony is brand engineering - buy this product on its merits, not its label.

Nice price, but man the design leaves a lot to be desired....

looks good

i have an old sony usb and have been using it for years without problem. seems like a good deal and ordered one for myself.

ah crud... bought the 4gb one last month at play for 9.99 - in the words of Homer J Simpson "Doh"

ordered.. heat added thx op!

I posted the 4GB ones when they dropped to £9 recently, but at this price for 8GB, they're a steal!

I'm sure its available for the same price in Tesco.

damn voted hot, then read the reviews and now want to vote cold.

seems like a good deal. thanks!

Price match PC World with the Sandisk Cruzer from Amazon (even incl delivery) and it works out cheaper.

in stock again and same price.

in stock again and same price.

Thanks for the update catinthehat

Unexpired..

Got one of these and I can't believe how fast it transfers files to my PS3 - very impressed - much better than my Play branded one. My only disappointment is that it wont accept large files. I have a 4.2Gb file and it wont accept it. But that is common with most (or all, not sure) flash drives. Unfortunately I didn't know this before I bought it. Still more than happy with it though and it deffo deserves this heat!

presume you are using fat32 where the file limit is 4gb,, format to ntfs then
