Memory Stick Pro Duo :-S Does it work well ?

Heat left anyway as decent camera, makes me wish I got the A580 at the gadget show with 18-55 lens for £480 though

Have a look at pentax k-x. Awarded as the best mid-darnge DSLR of 2010, great for low light. Its only drawback is use of AA batteries.

Because you havent played with a DSLR yet. Lack of dedicated buttons and viewfinder can be annoying for some, but again it depends what you come from

Well i personally shoot Sony cameras, as i used to use Minolta, Sony bought Minolta, and kept all of there great systems such as in-body stabilization.
You can get some real bargain old lenses
I started with the A200 and soon upgraded to the semi-pro A700 as it suited my motorsport needs better.
Have a look at my site if you like. Most of the images on there where taken with the Sony A200
digital-darkroom.weebly.com/ind…tml
The A700 images are the industrial machines in B+W and the Same photo different processing.
A very helpful sony forum for the cameras is dynaxdigital.com

I'll check it out, thanks for the help.

BTW you don't happen to own it, do you?

Ive recently picked up the Sony A55, both the A55 and the A33 are well worth a look if your spending this sort of money, i did some haggling in best buy last month and walked out with the A55 for £569 so was quite please with that! its an amazing piece of kit and incluedes 1080 video capture with continuous autofocus during capture, oh and it takes great photos too! ;-)

A friend of mine has a Pentax K-x, I've used it a bit. It's a fantastic camera - what did you want to know?

WoW...shame there is no store near me

Any decent deals on a Panasonic Lumix FZ38 out there at the moment?

I have the FZ38, to be honest I should have gone for a full DSLR rather then a bridge!!

Have Memory Stick Pro Duo HG 30mb/s cards. Faster than Class 10 SDs.

£480 is a bargain! I got the body with the VAT back promotion for £400. It's a fantastic camera... like my friends say... we go to the same places except your pictures just make it look so much better (than my pictures)

Ah sorry for the late reply, but I wanted to know how easy it is to use and the video and sound quality on it.

Unfortunately I haven't found stock in any shop in loads of areas across the country. Anyone else found any? Cracking deal, though if anyone can!
