Sony A6000 Body only £325 delivered after cashback / £375 before cashback @ Bristol Cameras

Standard price elsewhere seems to be 399.99 (349.99 after cashback).

Bundles with lenses aren't looking quite as attractive at the moment.

I recommend saving and paying a bit more for the a6500

Now admittedly I'm no expert but "a bit more" seems like a bit of an understatement when it costs a grand more, while the camera in question is £325. Not doubting it's better but it's also at a very different price point.

Exactly. This is a great camera for somebody wanting to try or get into interchangeable lens cameras and or as a spare body for somebody. Yes this is a few years old now (I’ve had two) but they are probably what I consider to be the best camera for a generation. This was a groundbreaking game changer (I had all the nex models and am now on an a7m2). This is a future classic

You'll get better pictures with this £325 camera and a £900 lens, than you would with the £1,300 camera and no lens (or kit lens). There'll always be something "better" but better has to be taken in the context of a cost:performance ratio. Someone could post a deal for a Skoda, and you could comment - why not save up and buy a Ferrari.

The A6500 isn't really at a great price point at the moment. Also at that price point you can consider the A7ii instead, which would be a better buy for a lot of people. However, With A6500 vs A7ii, which one to buy depends very heavily on what you want to get out of the camera as they have very different characteristics.

And if you don't know whether the A7ii or A6500 would suit you better then I think the A6000 is probably a better overall buy.
oh and ps. i dont think the deal is that great
its perhaps the cheapest atm but that doesn't automatically make it a good deal
How long does the cashback usually take? Been waiting over a week now?
Brilliant camera. I have one and it's incredibly powerful.
