yep some good sony deals
a6500 949 then 300 cashback
hx90 225 then 80 cashback (quite tempted by this tbh)
every lens is a decent reduction also even if not exciting (55-210 has been cheaper in past)

Could anyone recommend a good lens for street or landscape photos.
Does this have in-body stabilization?

For street photos of look at the Sigma 30 2.8. It's cheap, compact and very sharp

£300 so is this a better lens than the Sigma 30 2.8 mentioned by sion ?

Another question, are you able to use a lense that's a different manufacturer of the camera body ?

I'd recommend the Sony E 35mm F1.8 OSS, it complements the small size of the A6000 making a discrete high quality package with the bonus of effective image stabilisation for low light images, I use mine for street photography in London and find it a great combo.

ofc it is 'better' (and much bigger and much more expensive) but thats almost irrelevant as its a totally different focal length
so if you want a 30mm lens then NO its not better

Sony 35mm F1.8 is the classic 50mm on Aspc sensor.

Surely this clause in the cashback terms and conditions means we are all basically stuffed:

20. The Promotion is not available in conjunction with any other promotion.

If you download a copy of your invoice from Amazon it has a specific line item with description "Promotions" and value -£90.99.

Unless someone can convince me that Sony will payout irrespective of this, it is going to have to go back!

Anyone care to persuade me otherwise?

I'd assume it meant not available in conjunction with other promotions from Sony specifically. Because essentially the Prime Day promotion is just a discount? Although admittedly I have no idea if that's actually the case.

Edit: the person I spoke to on Sony Live Chat thought differently, and said that if the invoice separately lists a promotion then it's in violation of the terms and conditions, meaning the claim will be rejected.
